He's supposed to be almost healed. If he is released he'd be a good pickup for someone. Probably when healthy better then Ersan.

Or just cut him, don't know why you are getting all worked up over it.

The Sixers plan to use Splitter, 32, as a mentor for their young centers the rest of the season.

Scared to waive him after the Mo Williams fiasco?

Chances any playoff team wants to trade for him? GSW perhaps now that they're looking at a Boogie/Davis frontcourt in the first round. Although I doubt we could make the salaries work.

We need him. Our frontcourt is thin.

So...he's still here. I'm not exactly sure how the insurance works for players who have been injured the full year but IIRC, the insurance company would actually pay his wage.

Another cash saving for the owners....they get the full cap hit to reach the floor but don't have to actually pay the player.

Add to that, Boguts likely waiving could very well include a reduced cash payout.

Then we get to sell all dem 2nd rounders on draft night.

Plus the old 'day to day' injury for Embiid, while at the same time increasing ticket prices.

I guess though......if you can't trust a bunch of Wall Street douchebags....who can you trust?
