Jackson's touch around the basket is pretty legit. It was the reason why he was able to finish at nearly 70% at the rim despite being physically weak.

Comparable percentages with Jonathan Isaac. Better than the other top prospects, but he was assisted a lot more around the baskets than those players, so not really a fair comparison. Lonzo Ball has an extremely high FG% at the rim due to the nature of his makes as well.

Frank Jackson is the type of point guard prospect we need to get out of this draft along with Josh Jackson at 3.


Frank Jackson is a perfect PG to pair with Simmons.


Josh Jackson could be the best player in this draft He has all the tools. Brett Brown loved Wiggins so I know for sure he loves Josh.

Frank Jackson just had some minor foot surgery. He'll probably be there in the 2nd. I've yet to come around on him.

Frank Jackson came off of the bench for Duke and has an injury so that means that he's not a draftable player... Simmons should be paired with a player from Duke's bench?

I think he has massive bust potential.

I agree he has bust potential... IF he's picked too high. He's really raw. But he has spectacular shot blocking​ instincts and you can't teach a 7'6 wingspan. I wouldn't take him in the top 20, but after that, I'd take a flyer on him as a developmental big man. Same for Thomas Bryant of Indiana.

I wish they were both better rebounders though.

Wouldn't be surprised if Bucks go home run again with drafting Harry Giles.

Im currently trying to stay away from the draft until like a week to go. I got a feeling JJ has a good chance to be drafted by Ainge.

First video of Jackson's of this user's series on prospects. Of course his shot looks great when it's going in, but my goodness, he misses terribly in some of these.

He's still a top five player to me. I feel like his handles are point guard level. He feels like a Portland backcourt player, but one that plays excellent defense. Even with his struggles at the rim, the fact that he can get there is half the battle because we have Simmons and Embiid as clean up duty.

I'm really hoping we leave this draft with him.

I really want 5 and 10 in this draft, with several guys I would love to her being available at each spot. After the first picks of Fultz and Ball go, really like the next group of 10 guys or so a lot more than I like any single one enough to stay at three.

Jason Tatum shot 40% on uncontested catch and Shoots, and only 29% on contested catch and shoot opportunities. Josh Jackson made 39% of his total catch and Shoot opportunities (no breakdown of uncontested vs contested). Safe to say Josh Jackson was better than Jason Tatum in catch and shoot situations last year.

So Jackson is the better athlete, better defender, better rebounder, better passer and he's better at the catch and shoot. Hmmm...
