I also think both PG and LeBron are respectively not coming here and not the answer. So 2 year deals, leaving max cap room for 2019, should be on the table as well. It also effectively means no more worries about moving Bayless, just bury him on the bench.

With Cousins injury, the options are getting limited this summer. I agree we have no chance at PG, Bron we do but don't know if we need the drama. The advantage we have is most players can fit, problem is getting them to come here.

We might be stuck with Bayless if noone is going to come to Philly. We might could get Cousins while keeping Bayless....just sayin.

god no. No offense. Saric and LAL/SAC pick, last really intriguing asset we have is going to be used to bring in twilight of his career Kevin Love? To compliment Embiid and Simmons? At the expense of Dario? As Fultz is looking more and more like a bust? Sorry, I'm out.

Kevin Love is 29 with a game that should age well. Twilight of his career?

That's an old 29.

Also Saric is 23 on a rookie contract. With another rookie contract on the way that hopefully will be a good player in the LAL pick. Which again, you suddenly now need more than ever in light of this Fultz pro/regression.

Partnering Kevin Love w Simmons and Embiid to lose in the ECF the next two years isn't what the process was about.

I'm not saying Love is necessarily a good trade. In fact I wouldn't do the trade either. I just don't understand how it's an old 29? He should be a solid player til his mid 30s.

The Fultz front has changed dramatically in the past couple of days, which means that yes, the Lakers pick needs to be used for a better target than Kevin Love.

Should the Sixers deal Fultz this summer if they can get at least 75% of value?

I would love to go back to the Vlade well and see his reaction to something like Bayless, Anderson, Holmes, 2018 PHI 1st for WCS, Skal and Vince Carter.

So if Chicago was willing to eat Asik's contract while also giving up Mirotic for a 1st, you'd think they'd be ok with eating Bayless for a couple of our better 2nds (which BC would just sell anyway).

I believe both TT and Korver are serviceable to use in playoffs. With Fultz shooting is gone, Korver will be a nice add. They will also be moveable during the summer.

Do you think Cav or Lac would do this? If not, shall we replace Bayless with Booker or add back TLC or Anderson?

Knowing GarPax, they were probably looking at Asik as an asset in that deal. IMO 2019 FA should be the Sixers target now, so moving Bayless doesn’t have to be a priority, but if someone will take him for a couple 2nds I can see doing that and then looking for another deal to add depth for the playoff push.

This would be absolutely terrible for Cleveland

I don’t think the Clips are going to move DeAndre now. But even if they do, Cleveland won’t pay the BKN pick to get him.

This is an oddball type idea... but the biggest thing holding the Sixers back right now is BC.

So what about JJ Redick, PHI 2018 1st, and BKN 2018 2nd to HOU for Ryan Anderson and Daryl Morey?

Rockets get cap for LeBron, or close to it; plus a 1st and a 2nd. They probably have other guys ready to take over that FO, and who says the new owner doesn’t kind of want to put his own stamp on things around there?

As for the Sixers, full focus on 2019 FA with an excellent GM.

BOS gets Holmes
MEM gets Nader, Booker, and 2018 PHI 1st top 10 protected
PHI gets Green and Evans

That gets Memphis a first somewhere between 15-20, a young wing, and saves them money this year and next year. Boston gets another cheap big man and the Sixers get Evans and an upgrade on Booker.

Since the Magic are checking into Aaron Gordon's trade value, I'd like to see the 76ers make an offer for his Restricted F/a rights. Also get an early preview of how he could look with Embiid, Simmons and Covington, in place of Saric. Saric and Holmes for Gordon.
Fischella wrote:I think none of you guys that are pro-Embiid no how basketball works today.. is way easier to win it all with Omer Asik than Olajuwon.
Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

no thx. i prefer bball-iq and shooting over pure athletic. the contract situation of both (darios bargain rookie-contract compared to the soon be paid very well gordon) makes this an instant no for me.
