People are just overreacting because they're disappointed to see that Simmons and Fultz look like rookies. We got spoiled by Joel last year on what you can realistically expect from a rookie.

I too want to call out the over reactions but I'll be damn if im not sitting here feel some type of way right now.

we look like **** and while I expected some growing pains...i low key was looking forward to watching actual good basketball again after years of ****...and I am pretty pissed right now

I thought the evidence for Simmons being right handed was pretty strong prior to us drafting him. Seeing him shoot after a year of practice has just reinforced that belief. He will never achieve his full potential unless he switches to his dominant hand.

Jo showed things to be concerned with in preseason as well. In 103 minutes he shot 1-7 from 3 (14.3%), committed 20 fouls (7.0 fouls per 36), had 0 assists, and 18 turnovers (6.3 per 36).

One one hand the ball moves better without Simmons on the other hand with Simmons I feel like we get good shots. Hard to tell what needs to happen.

I'm treating players like Stauskas like I did Hollis Thompson. They are just noise on the court that is taking opportunities away from players I'm interesting in watching (Simmons, Fultz, Korkmaz, etc). So when we are committed to playing these filler players, it doesn't really matter all that much to me. Hopefully come the regular season, we distill this roster down to players that actually matter seeing the court.

how can you be this pissed? We are missing 3 starters are 3 of our 4 best players? The players that people are harping on are rookie.

Was anyone else expecting Furkan to get more minutes this preseason after balling out in the blue white scrim?

Especially after how often we've heard BC talk about surrounding Simmons with 'SHOOTERS'.

I'm not worried about individual players abilities, but I am mad that it feels like they all basically came back this morning from a 5 year Mormon mission in Siberia and haven't stepped foot on a basketball court in ages.

I just don't like what has developed under the watch of the coaching staff this offseason. I don't **** care if Ben Simmons can shoot or not yet, that isn't my issue. But when you have players going off doing whatever the hell want, and then the game starts and they look like they individually have the confidence of of a virgin asked to make a porn star c**, then I have a problem.
