Really good 3 point shooter too. He's making 1 out of every 4 he shoots, and when you factor in you have to aim a basketball and get it into a tiny little hoop from over 22 feet away, that's good. It's hard to do.

This has to be all on him because he waited till this guy had no trade value and skipped out when Jahlil value was at least high enough to get something.

You can change the sig, Jah is free.

now just gotta fix the profile pic

You do know BC is selling all the 2nds, right? So using them to get rid of roster flotsam is better than selling them?

FWIW: Sixers still have 8 draft picks in the pipeline over the next 2 seasons.

2nd rounders were used when Hinkie was deconstructing the roster and used the opportunity to take long, hard looks on potential "diamonds in the rough" to fill out a roster meant to lose a ton of games.

Now that we have identified our core building blocks, 2nd rounders do not carry the same weight. If we do not sell them, they will likely be used on 15th roster spot projects and euro stashes.

I love the 2nd round/G-league....and think there are useful role players for the taking every single year there, but having 3-4 every year is overkill at this point.

People on this board are seriously freaking out about the 2nd round pick? Seriously?! If you wanna be a contender, you get rid of them all. Period.

That's this year. 2019 was traded.

We have some interest in the Knicks second round pick for 5 straight years, it's hard to keep straight.

Good job, BC. We need Trevor Booker. Someone who can thug it out. Saric is gritty, but he aint hard. Booker is a hardcore, take no **** dude. I like it. And I hope Jahlil succeeds in BK.

With the free roster spot, Id like to see us acquire a backcourt player who can create and score. I would have hoped that pick 1 plus a future lottery pick may have covered that need but doesn't seems as though it will.

well, we've really been putrid when we take out our starters. so even a little off the bench is a plus. otherwise, i'm not sure why we didn't buy him out and keep the pick.

Pretty sure the plan is to leave it open for a few weeks until you can start signing guys to 10 day deals, run through some of those, then chase a buyout guy after the deadline with our rooms exception (~$4 million).

Wouldn't be surprised if Booker ended up getting traded again.

Yea i am intrigued with the open roster spot. I think we may look for a buy low veteran for some 2nds or something.....but id be all for bringing in James Young or Christian Wood on 2-way contracts.

Also agreed with Marcrush. If Fultz is not coming back soon, we need to find and attacking, scoring guard.
