Nice pickup. Will fill the Fultz void in our offense.

He wont be able to fill it but he gives you a poor man’s version of JJ’s impact on offense when JJ sits.

It's a match made in heaven.

Would be interesting whether how BB would pair JJ-Beli with Ben-Jojo. I prefer Ben with Jj and Jojo with Beli.

Imho he'll go:

Embiid-JJ-TJ
Simmons-Saric-Beli

But if Beli will produce 3's at high rate, I think BB will switch JJ and Marco, so he can have 2 ballhanders in the Embiid lineup.
Beli as ballhander is a little underrated: nothing amazing but very solid.

Good signing. It will help limit the over burdening of Redick, who is already playing more minutes than his body is used to playing. Redick and Bayless are a little injury prone and this team is put in a bind when one or both are injured, so this can't do anything but help them. Wish they could have traded a 2nd for his "Bird rights" though.

This is also a good move by Belinelli. He's already familiar with a 76ers type offense, since he's played with San Antonio and Atlanta. A good showing could allow him to get better offers in Free agency this summer.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

Nothing like Fultz. More like adding another Redick so we can have someone to stretch the floor for 48 minutes, instead of just 32.

So, he might be available for the game against Miami? Knicks game will surely be too soon?

Will get plenty of open looks...

If he can shoot the 3 around 40%, then this could be a great signing. Also a smart player with experience, he won’t do stupid things that Bayless and TLC manage to do.

Our best interest, long-term, would be for Luwawu and Saric to be in the starting line-up with Embiid/Simmons/Covington.

Luwawu:
As a starter: 12 ppg on 56.5% true shooting
As a reserve: 4.8 ppg on 49.8% true shooting

Saric:
As a starter: 15.3 ppg on 54.9% true shooting
As a reserve: 10.5 ppg on 50% true shooting

Redick is just too good a fit/performer to relegate, at this point.

Every player on the team plays better as a starter. Embiid draws all of the attention away from the 4th and 5th option.

From reading posts from Hawks fans, their view was that while we were offering a 2nd, we were also insisting they take Bayless. I can understand the Hawks not wanting to do that.

It could be that we really don't have any one-for-one salary that we could matchup. Booker is the closest, but makes 9.1. Belinelli makes 6.6. I'm not familiar with Atlanta's rotations, but maybe they didn't have a player making 1.5 that they wanted to throw in to match and maybe they didn't think adding even 1 million in salary was worth a mid-late 2nd round pick.

The reason that I like this deal is because we gave up nothing, and we are trying to make the playoffs this year, and he will help us make more shots from the bench.

He doesn’t have to do anything other than change a game here and there with his ability to hit the 3.

He should have a bottom line effect on the team in close games, we gave up nothing, and he is an expiring deal. What’s not to like?

No brainer...Veteran sharp shooter off the bench. Had a great year in San Antonio a few years ago...he will help this club win some games. Remember not that long ago whem the Sixers were horrible from 3 and even worse from the line?

Sure. If all it costs us is James Young’s roster spot.

It would at least be fun.

Young is on a two way contract. VC can't be signed to a two way contract because he has more than 4 years of NBA experience.
