Knee soreness is never a good thing with such a big guy, especially Embiid who has a history of bad knees....

Sixers won’t say too much, but if he misses more then a few games it will be concerning.

Hopefully he misses just the 1 or 2 games and he’s back.

I get the feeling the Sixers need to capitalise on Embiids dominance in the next few seasons, because it’s unlikely he will be a fully fit superstar after 30.

Jojo out tonight. Fack! If this goes on for a couple of more games, the dreaded MRI comes out. Only solace I'm taking is that Brown says it's just precautionary.

Well Jimmy should light it up, and Ben doesn't need to worry about taking jumpers given that Jo won't be there, so he'll be happy lol.

Portland is a good team, I think we lose this one without Jo.

It was bound to happen sooner or later with how much he plays from the lack of a competent backup. I rather he sits now then come playoff time.

Man...Embiid is awesome. KAT has been fantastic over last month, he even started playing well and dominating AD recently (a player he always struggled against)..so I was excited to see how he is gonna matchup against Embiid, hoping he could finally do well against Embiid but Joel totally dominated KAT. Embiid is the only player in the league whom I have seen totally destroy KAT on both ends, he always gets into KAT's head.

From what I have seen, Joel's defense this season has slightly regressed when compared to last season. But when Joel is locked in, then he definitely has bigger impact than even AD....AD can be bullied and also I think AD is easier to defend in post than Joel. I remember watching Sixers vs Pels match earlier that season and AD had one of his worst games offensively. Joel dominated him. Joel is just a freak of talent, truly a generational talent. As long as he stays healthy, no doubt he is gonna lead Sixers to atleast 1 finals appearance.
