The Celtics really do not want any type of HCA throughout the play-offs

Maybe they want to end up with the 6th seed just to troll us

That now is some 4D Chess. Finally..

Would Celtics, Raptors, Bucks, Warriors be the toughest road to a championship of all time?

These things happen ... rest or no rest

Gordon Hayward had the same type of freak injury and, given the fact it was in the first minutes of the season, we cannot say he had to be rested.

It's going to take a whole season to recover from this I feel, for Nurk.

Im not talking absolutes. Im talking shades of grey.

Superteams lessens your chance to have these kind of freakish injuries. Less stress less exposures.

Strange theory.
The only theory that is correct is, if you don't play, you don't get injured.

Nurkic is around 27 MPG, that's not a lot of stress on the body

Forget rest. It's just that if you have multiple stars, it's easier to absorb the blow if one of them gets hurt.

Yet another big injury/raw deal for Portland. Sucks to say but with Portland's history... wouldn't be surprised if this is career ending for Nurkic.

It's notable that since the Tobias Harris trade, the Clippers have gone from barely hanging on to the 8th seed up to the 5th seed.

Also wasn’t the only trade the Clippers made. Forcing Doc to stop playing Avery Bradley and Gortat was huge.

Don't worry about Wood-regret. Flakes gonna flake.

Whiteside achieved about as much success as a flake can, and he still hasn't solicited any envy of his former teams. The Heat don't even want him.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
