Butler can also get to the line, something Brett emphasizes.

Butler and Biid at the line for bazillion of times would make every game last for around 3 hours

What we do now is to break the heart of Kawhi and get him here

OK, but Covington is used entirely for spacing on the offensive end. He isn't given the ball on the perimeter and expected to create like Butler is. Now we have an additional player who is going to have the ball in his hands, which leaves Simmons even more off the ball than he is now.

Butler can create with the Ball on ISO with is a HUGE need and Butler can actually play PLAYOFFS defense

I already said Butler makes us better. There are still spacing concerns.

We should be trying to trade Fultz now. It's game over for him with Butler here.

Butler is just better than covington at everything basketball- on court related.

Saric wit his flawys..was a great fit with ben, .. Shame that bjelica step away from that deal.

Out of all the fans here, your thoughts are usually right in the long term. That's why. No disrespect to other fans.
I wonder what's the starting lineup looks now. And BTW, I was always on board with you of trading Saric. Great that we traded him as somehow he had some value.

Butler doesn't have the range that Covington has, but he is more than capable of filling Covington's only role of "Spot up 3 point shooter". Butler will take the ball out of Simmons and Embiid's hand a few possessions, but I think what he adds as a player that can attack close-outs and as a player that defenses actually have to guard, will provide much more gravity to the offense than what you lose from Covington. Saric is no loss. Wilson Chandler can do whatever Saric can do on offense, except pass.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

Trading Saric raises this team ceiling so much it is not even funny. Addition by subtraction

chandler is a worse shooter than dario btw.

The 10 game stretch by dario was just awful.

I'll wait and see what happens. Burned the last two times we traded for a star (Webber and Bynum). Exciting nonetheless.

I'm not one of those guys that overrate my guys. They routinely combined for 4-5 dunce plays per game. And to unload Bayless.. Off with their heads.

I think we should take a minute to appreciate Colangelo for acquiring the pieces sent out in this trade. Thanks only to his foresight were we able to execute a superstar trade like this.

Thank you for everything, BC.
