He was better on D though, I'd rather have that cause we have Jimmy now.

His offense wasn't good, but if he steps it up on D then I'm good with it.

Without Roco and Dario, this team isn't as good of a rebounding team but we still need Jojo protect the rim. 6 blocks for Jojo are encouraging, also the 22 rebs from Ben.

I thought his defense was awful that half. Had a few great plays because he's talented, but overall he was sagging into the paint on pick-and-rolls and then staying there while his assignment is a sharpshooter. Idk, it's whatever.

No, we need a new coach seriously

Sixers need a bench before a new coach. Brown is coaching with one hand tied behind his back.

Brand needs to make some moves. The Butler decision is looking like a bad fit so he cant miss another step.

ya, no other coach is in such a bad position as brett brown with 3 super stars on his team plus jj redick averaging a career high ppg

poor brett brown, stuck with yet another tanking team devoid of talent

never brett browns fault

Ok, I trust you on that, I was cooking in the first half so I didn't see it as much lol.

I liked what I saw more in the second half though.

I absolutely agree about Bolden, Wilson should be his backup.

That's on BB and his stubbornness.

I mean, he's coming off a minor ankle injury- assuming he had rolled it or something- perhaps it flared up. Idk, and Idc tbh. Wins a win, and ultimately the issues are what they have been, we need more depth. If we had a competent back-up Center maybe Jo takes this game off, who knows.

I just want to see Ben on the boards more, and this game was a good sign.

We are 5th in overall rebounding and 10th in rebounding percentage from a team in the top 3 last year. Granted against a team like the Celtics this doesn't matter as much, but I would like to see us dominate this stat alot more. It really starts with Ben here IMO, since we don't have Roco or Dario helping.

Ben should be averaging a double double on this team with Jojo uping his block production and rim protection. Both should be averaging a double double, not just Jojo.

Even if he has a bench, he doesn’t adjust. This team still plays just like how they played Boston in the playoffs last year and he had a bench then.

Not sure how the first calculates ratings, but the second image shows it clear by quarter.

In order for this team to be more successful, I believe both of these things just have to continue. We need Jojo to increase his blocks and rim protection, and Ben to be a double digit rebounder going forward.

Embiid needs to conserve some fuel and not worry abt every defensive rebound.

Yep, this is where Bolden starting would really help the team cause right now all we have are Ben and Jojo on the boards, and really for the season only Jojo.

We really need Ben to step up here and average a double double if BB wants to continue the idiocy of starting Wilson. We are talking BB here though, he's as stubborn as a mule, so 3pt% rules all even at the expense of everything else on the court.

I don't get it, is he suggesting that we should bench Embiid in the 4th?

Think he means to give him more opportunities to rest and conserve energy. If point margin held up more throughout games -whether it's a few points, or in blowouts, or even if we're able to keep deficits marginal- he wouldn't be relied upon as much and for so long throughout games.
