Boban's not bad, but I don't see him giving anything more than 10 minutes a night at most. He can't play in long stretches without being exposed on defense due to his lack of quickness.

Embiid needs to workout against Boban daily just so he can get comfortable going against someone strong that forces him to use finesse more than power.

One idea. We had a lot of problems against teams like Toronto and Memphis. They managed to get physical with Joel and smother him a bit.
Perhaps we can use Boban in those matchups to wrestle with their physical fives, while we put Joel at 4 at the same time to create more preferable matchup in the post.
And if they double Embiid, just throw it up, Boban can catch anything.

Hope he can bring that type of defense when Biid is not on the court

I expect Boban to take Biid's place if Biid sit out games, to anchor the defense then activate Bolden. Not too shabby

I'm hoping we can re-sign him for a reasonable amount (like $5M/yr). He provides the kind of defensive impact we need in a backup for Embiid. For those situations where he gets exposed on the perimeter, we have Jonah Bolden.

I wouldn't mind BB trying that experiment once our schedule gets a bit easier. If he tried it with Embiid/Okafor, Okafor/Noel, and Embiid/Noel, he can definitely try it with Embiid/Boban at least in short stretches.

Respect to Brown for playing Boban, he may struggle on switches but man is he hard to stop from scoring in the paint.

I feel like he came a long at the wrong time, if this guy played in the 80s there would be a statue of him in front of some arena.

Boban is a really good backup center. He just can only guard close to the basket. If the other team has a 5 that can pull him away from the basket then play Bolden in those games.

I’m monitoring Boban closely.

I didnt expect our team to have him as our full time back up for Embiid. He looks good on paper. In the last two games, his DFG% and DFGA has been great but his oncohrt DRtg has been poor.

If Boban could improve his footwork he would be virtually impossible to defend.

There has to be a physical therapist/exercise guru out there that can improve Bobans mobility.
