Heidi4Ben is at least consistent. I can't hate on that too much.

Boban is fine, won’t miss a lot of time. No structural damage. No surgery.

Well he's back, and seems alright, luckily. Maybe it's still early, but do you think he stays on the team for the next season(s) or no?

I think it depends largely on Butler. If we re-sign Butler, we are operating over the cap and Boban will be our best option since we can re-sign him with Bird rights. If Butler walks, we will probably do another big signing or two relatively big signings that eat up almost all of our cap space. In that case, we are under the cap and had to renounce Boban to sign those other free agents. And we won't leave enough room under the cap to re-sign him.

Boban has surprisingly good touch inside of 5-7 feet. It’s almost automatic with him. I’m glad he’s back to provide 10-15 min of backup minutes. I thought he would be out till April.

This thread needs a bump. Boban has been incredible this series and his units have dominated. We run a lot of our offense through him and he hasn't been much of a defensive liability because the Nets centers can't shoot. He hasn't been getting abused by the high PnR either.

I'm glad we're the team that's unleashing Boban and hope we re-sign him.

I know it is not Brett Brown's strategy (which boggles my mind), but when Boban has Hollis-Jefferson or Dudley on him, the Sixers need to feed the post. Let Boban abuse them.

Is he under contract next year? If not then the Sixers should resign him.

While that was my initial thought also, I don’t think the ref’s give an love to that type of situation. Boba got at least 1 offensive foul when doing a simple post move be cause his forearm was neck level of a short defender, not the chest of a normal big.

I think I almost prefer him taking that free throw jumper or getting great position to rebound or even rolling to the basket to catch it st the rim.

Haven't the Nets almost exclusively played zone when they've had one of those guys in at center?

Yup yup. Ive been high on Boban and thought he filled our biggest need after an obvious need for more star power.

And without Embiid while Nets doesnt have any bigs to punish him makes it a perfect storm to showcase his importance

He is playable until we face an opponent with bigs that can shoot from 3.

Brown needs to protect Boban from foul trouble in game 4 the way we normally do with Embiid. The dropoff from Bobi to Monroe is too steep. Letting Boban pick up his 5th so early in game 3 could have cost us.

He wasn't useful against the Raptors, but he can still provide great production against most of the league's bench. Worth a roster spot if he will come cheaply enough.

Wonder if he comes back on a minimum to fill the 6th big spot.
