I'll criticize Ben as much as anyone, but the season just ended. Dude is allowed to go on vacation.

Actually that pic is representing his leadership. Those 4 pigs are representing his 4 teammates on the floor.

Im not a big believer in hard work. Im a believer in working smart.

Look at Tatum. Maybe all that offseason work lead to fatigue that eventually had a negative performance in his sophomore season.

Rest and recovery is big for athletes.

Jj said it best. If you post work in social media, it’s likely because you’re not working most of the time.

Do you post photos of you working on your office in social media? No. Because its a routine.

According to RealGM, if Ben isn’t posting workout videos, he isn’t working out

True. But you’re MVP is dropping almost 30 nightly while Ben has games when he can’t break more than 10pts in the playoffs.

The reason why people wants him to shoot is because he can’t be Giannis.

Do you think it could be because Giannis is his teams #1 scoring option and Ben was our #5?

This whole thread is gross by the way. Prime example why philly fans can’t have nice things

Simmons general floor game outside of his terrible shooting is awesome: he's certainly a far superior passer and probably a better set-up man than Giannis in a playoff context. Giannis limits are probably being seen in this series - he's basically being contained as a scorer by the far smaller, if incredible, Kawhi, and that's Giannis main selling point as an attacker, his scoring ability.

If Simmons just gets the semblance of a half-court scoring game his far superior feel for the game will probably carry him past Giannis' limits as a player, despite what the blogboys say. Simmons just has a far higher IQ right now than Giannis ever will as a player.

The fact this is even a conversation is a big plus in Simmon's favor TBH.

Philly fans like to exert tough love, when Ben puts in the work and develops his game, we will treat him as our “crown jewel”.
Feeding pigs simply won’t cut it.

Yet everyone is soft as can be when it comes to Joel...who came up small with a belly ache in the playoffs. But let’s put all the blame and try to run a ridiculously talented 22 year old out of town

Of course, Simmons was born more talented, Giannis has worked much harder to offset not having the basketball IQ that Simmons has, we all know that, we know that the only reason Simmons is a top 30 player is ONLY because of his ridiculous talent, top 5 talent who is only a top 30 player, not much merit in that.

Ben as talented as he is has never been a scorer or go to guy. It's just not in his DNA. Giannis became a number 1 option because he is damn near impossible to stop going to the rim and is a dominant finisher with playmaking ability.

Tell me what warrants Ben Simmons being a #1 scoring option?

I just dont see where Ben is more talented than Giannis. They are the same talent wise though coming in the NBA Ben was more skilled and Giannis was a unknown though you could see his potential. Giannis has definitely put in the work to get where he is which is at least two levels above Ben.

Yeah it is debatable, I was referring more to some aspects that cannot be teached like basketball IQ and vision, which favour Ben much more. Of course Giannis also has much better wingspan so that counts too.

Never said Ben should be the #1 scoring option. Just pointed out that comparing his scoring output to a guy who IS the #1 scoring option for his team is beyond dumb.

Oh my god we have a 22 year old that is ONLY a top 30 player. Woe is us! Start the process back over, we’re screwed!

Honest question: how many of those top 30 guys do you think are also under 25?
