Well, at least we got a combo guard that's capable of creating. Didn't want to leave that all up to Richardson and Tobias.

Turns out they didn't need to use 2nd round picks to fill out the roster after all. Pretty solid haul of guys on minimum deals that you didn't need to use cap space on.

I do like the addition of Burke, finally some creation off the bench. Been needing that for like...ever.

Doesn't hurt he looks a little like my boy.

Seems like they realized Milton isn’t ready to contribute yet.

All right! Now you guys get to stop hearing me prattle on about lack of a bench scorer.
Over the past two seasons, totaling 1900 minutes, Burke has averaged more than 20 points per 36 minutes on 46% FG and 35.6% 3P.
Pretty darned good A/TO ratio, too. No defense, but that can be hidden on this team-- we need a guy who can score against 2nd and 3rd units.

Neto must be sweating balls now hahaha Burke was my favourite player to watch during his March Madness run and has been solid the last 2 years scoring off the bench.
Hopefully He contributes.
We're adequate in bench depth now if at least one of each at the following position has a good year
2 PG's (Burke, Neto)
2 SG's (Zaire,Thyulle)
2 SF's (Ennis,Korkmaz)
2 PF's (Scott,Bolden)
1 C O'quinn

The swing spots should be interesting. Zhaire Thyulle Korkmaz ... will enough come out of them? You hope so, but at this point it is the rosters big question mark (besides embiid health, Simmons shooting, and brown’s coaching — for those that list it).

Yeah I totally agree, I think the FO must have faith in Zaire and are happy to roll the dice with Thybulle since they didn't address that position in free agency.
If they don't come through We can always make a minor trade or grab someone from the buy out market.

I love the Burke signing. Finally a guard that can create his own shot from the perimeter, we haven't had that since Lou Will I think.. He probably won't regularly be in a rotation, but can be used quite a lot when if the second unit is in a scoring slump, or as a heat check guy.

That’s my view...not sure he’ll even play in the playoffs, but for those regular season nights where we need an offensive injection he can provide it, though I’d like to see more threes and fewer mid range shots. No one else on the team really can really do what he can.

Yeah, it also at least somewhat addresses the question of what the hell this team does if Ben misses any time.

   I think Burke has improved since then haha and if he beats him again then it means Neto has stepped his game up even more so it's a win win

Ennis?

Come the playoffs Ennis night get all the sg/sf backup minutes. But before then there should be minutes that get soaked up by one of those question marks.

Yeah if they believe in one guy enough to claim he was their 2nd choice at the 10th pick, and another guy enough to trade up for him, there should be a path for at least one of them to earn regular season rotation playing time. Ideally/optimistically they are both in the rotation by the end of the year.
