So who can check Zion at C other than Giannis and Anthony Davis?

Zion is like advanced calculus for a limited ability, limited ambition draft evaluator like myself.

Pretty much nobody. The issue would be zion guarding fives in return. Plus players of his build should be concerned about back issues as well--lj, traylor, rogers. If Chuck Hayes could do it, Zion certainly can. But if the goal is to build a contending squad, I just wouldn't ask him to guard joel or jokic, nor jostle all day with dwight or deandre.

Tyler Herro's new name is Bucketinho.

I'm still not impressed with those Atlanta picks (Hunter and Reddish).

Herro is like the SG version of Kuzma, in regards to confidence and willingness to go get buckets. Except he can actually shoot (unlike Kyle).

So Marquese Chriss looks like he's found a temporary home with the Warriors. I'm wondering if he has matured of they'll just take anybody, at this point.

I really hope we sign Jeremiah Martin. He's way more well-rounded than Trey Burke and Raul Neto. In the very least bring him in on a two-way deal. He's an excellent defender with jumpshot potential. One of the better 6'2" defenders I've seen.

His highlights are filthy, too.

How are the Rockets going to get stops with a Westbrook/Harden backcourt?

Even Gordon is fine defensively as a 2, expecting him to consistently cover forwards seems like a stretch though.

I see people having them as top regular season record in the west, that seems crazy to me.

I think they'll get the top seed off the strength of Westbrook and Harden never taking games off and giving maximum offensive effort on a nightly basis in their quest to accumulate stats.

In terms of them being a real threat to the title, I'm not really even considering them.

Holy crap at Zion already possibly having a major injury. Online message boards saying torn meniscus.

I read that rumor. I hope it isn't true!

I am rooting for this kid, and the Pelicans in general.

Pelicans are being very vague. Saying he's out for "weeks" but refusing to say what the injury is. Definitely a torn meniscus, they just don't want to say the word "torn" because everyone will lose their ****.

The vagueness is weird and does remind me of how Colangelo handled Embiid's meniscus situation.

Pelicans are also notorious for cheaping out on their medical staffs, using the Saints people and so on. Wouldn't be somewhere I would want to play.

Feels like a rude awakening as a Zion fan. Elite talent, fun as hell to watch.

The sobering facts are his limitation in a playoff series and his ability to endure wear and tear. He's just not built like a basketball player. Short limbs, high body fat, overly muscled up frame.

You can tell Brandon Ingram doesn't work hard at all. Still so physically weak and he's such a crappy defender despite displaying loads of defensive talent at the lower levels.

A lot of people are optimistic of the Kings as an upstart, but I don't really feel it.

Management is incompetent and unstable.

Pretty soon, they be locked into big money longterm with all three of Barnes, Hield and Bogdanovic.

I'm lukewarm on Fox and relatively cool on Bagley.

It feels like this team is pretty close to their ceiling already.
