Well we have a little winning streak going on, and it's the perfect time to build a little momentum. I'm still not thrilled with how the offense has looked, but it's been much better the last two games especially. As others have said, the movements look a lot more crisp. Embiid played one of his most complete games against the Heat, and J-Rich was incredible. Infact all the starters were great. I think Ben obviously could have done much more on O, but his defense was DPOY level. I've been encouraged by that Zach Lowe article which indicates they have mentioned Ben taking threes, but it still is obviously a work in progress. Nothing would be better than seeing another three, and a win this game.

Obviously there will be a lot of emotions around this game. Yeah there's not Kawhi/Lowry/Ibaka, so it should be a win, but Paskal has taken the next step, and is putting up huge numbers. We didn't face OG in the playoffs and he's been pretty damn good as well. Fred Vanfleet has been impressive this season, but we had all the answers for him during the playoffs. Toronto has always been a tough city for us to win in, and Gasol might still have Embiid's number. Let's get it.

Revenge for game 7. I know Kawhi is gone, but still. I don't believe in the Raptors. I like how we match up with them, especially with them down Lowry and Ibaka.

Hey guys,

Raptors fan here in peace. Looking forward to the game tonight. This should be a measuring stick game for both teams, relative to our respective places in the East.

Really concerned about your length and Toronto's ability to rebound, box out, and stay out of foul trouble against your trees. I also wish we had Lowry's calming influence and Ibaka to help Gasol with Embiid and Horford. Not feeling great about Fred with Simmons defending.

Toronto's "big" lineup tonight is going to be a lot smaller without the ability to play Ibaka and Gasol at the same time.

Regardless, no excuses. Injuries are part of the game. Hopefully Siakam can ball out and Toronto shoots it well from distance!

Go Raps!

I am interested to see how our offense will look against a team with good defenders like Toronto.

Will Gasol play? If so, I expect Horford on Gasol.

no reason to lose to this team without Lowry, Ibaka (and Kawhi)

unless we put all of our energy into Miami and go into tonight unfocused.

Siakam will get his, but without Lowry we can have success with their backcourt. VanVleet was neutralized last year and now we have J Rich to chase him around. If we shoot well at all this is a win.

Should be an easy win for The Philadelphia 76ers the talent gap is substantial but then again we are coached by Brett Brown. If this team plays with intensity like it did against Miami, it is the best team in the NBA ,if they coast like they do most of the time, they can get beat by anybody.

Me too! Even at full strength Toronto is waaaaay below Philadelphia in talent level.

I wish I had the confidence that you seem to have with this team. Nothing in their performance this year ON THE ROAD suggests they will put a whooping on any team, let alone a quality NBA team. Losing to the Suns, and getting stomped by the Thunder and Magic on the road should not make anyone feel good about this game.

Team has to constantly show the level of play they shown against Boston and Miami before any declarations of easy wins should even be thought about.

we struggled to beat the goddam knicks. any one can own us at anytime until further notice

Furkan comes on and they attack him three straight possessions. This is why you can’t have a bunch of no D players on your team
