Record Prediction for the 11 games until All-Star break

Post#1 » by pickprotection » Mon Jan 20, 2020 1:26 am

The Sixers have 11 games remaining until the all-star break. Here are the games reamining:

@Nets (1/20)
@Raptors (1/22)
Lakers (1/25)
Warriors (1/28)
@Hawks (1/30)
@Celtics (2/1)
@Heat (2/3)
---------------> trade deadline 3 pm on feb 6th before bucks game
@Bucks (2/6)
Grizzlies (2/7)
Bulls (2/9)
Clippers (2/11)

Assuming Embiid is out for all or the majority of these games what is your record prediction for these 11 games?

I think we go 4-7 (wins against warriors, hawks, bulls, and grizzlies).

Probably win 5 or 6.

Hard to say. Not sure what the other teams schedules look like in terms of back-to-backs/travel. Also hard to predict what this team will look like of any stretch of games in terms of effort and shooting.

I see 6 wins and 5 losses. If they can go 7-4 they'll be in good shape, as I expect Embiid to come back after the all-star break and the last 20 games of the season are extremely easy.

Yeah I know which ones are the definite losses... the problem is I can't see a single definite win apart from Warriors at home. So I am just going to say the record will not be better than 7-4 but wouldn't surprise me if we go 2-9

We can barely beat the Knicks on the road. So I assume we gonna to lose all road games. Maybe beat hawks on road. But hawks beat us on their home court WITH EMBIID last year.

3-8 worst case. 6-5 best case

I can see 4 wins maybe 5 in the next 11 games. With how inconsistent they play this year, nothing is surprising anymore.

Pshhhh, we might lose one game out of those 11. Taking care of business tonight for sure against Brooklyn. We match up a lot better with them this time around. SImmons, Thybulle, Richardson vrs Irving, Dinwiddie, and Lavert...It's going to be fun, but I like our chances. After tonight we're going on a nice little win streak. Think we pull off a miracle against the Lakers too. I'm gonna say 9-2 taking L's to both Boston and the Clippers.

I wonder if Zach Lavine can get to Philly within 3 hours to suit up for the Bucks game.

Assuming no Embiid for any of these? 4-7.

Looks like Embiid is back and we’re 3-1 so far. We should easily go 5-2 the rest of the way

Next 4 road games are so critical. Let hope we don’t lose to hawks would gave us a bunch of trouble last year

We need to go 2-2 to to be within striking distance of 2 seed

I know people say seeding doing matter.

It does matter since if you lose a home game without home court advantage. You have very little room for error.

With Embiid back, we ought to go 5-2 or better. The BOS-MIA-MLW stretch will be interesting.
2023-2024 Philadelphia 76ers:

Lowry/Melton/Payne
Maxey/Hield/Downtin
Batum/Oubre/Council
Harris/Covington/Martin
Embiid/Reed/Bamba

2/3 in any capacity would be really great.

We really need to secure a top 3 seed

4th seed will be fine.
Team is built to counter Bucks.
Just needs to arrive at playoffs healthy.

Teams ahead of us just seem to either be more clutch or lucky or plain lucky. Miami seems to have some game tying 3 point within the last 30 seconds of many of their games that go to overtime and they are like 8-0 in overtime. You figure the odds will catch up to them.

And last night. Pacers got lucky 3 point tying shot to force overtime with 10 seconds left by victor oladipo who didn’t make a 3 point shot all night.

Seems like our last seconds shots don’t fall in (horford missed 3 and Harris missed 3 against Miami)

Just the way the ball bounces. We don’t have a lot of wiggle room as long as other teams are winning games. We have to win the games we are suppose to and keep winning.

The Sixers might not survive a 4/5 matchup with Indy or Toronto. They need to avoid those teams in the 1st round.
