During offseason, people got mad over Korver.
Then it became Melo.
Then it became CP3.
Now its Derrick Rose.

I’m going to be thinking ahead and say, we need Vince Carter.

P.S. Darren Collison is thinking about playing again.

I don’t think think much of your roster without KL. Easy playoff win for Philadelphia if we meet.

Everybody relax the only team I’m remotely worried about in the playoffs is Milwaukee and we crushed them on Christmas day with a full roster.

the problem with the people who ho hum these losses and "aren't worried" about Toronto and Boston and Miami come playoff time etc., is that you're all still looking at this team with the preseason rose colored glasses and the sense of entitlement.

The fantasy of what we thought this team could be is not the reality of what this team actually is.

we aren't so much better than the rest of the top teams in the East. you could realistically argue we're actually worse than some of them in actuality. homecourt is absolutely crucial. seeding is absolutely crucial.

You underestimate playoff experience and having a cohesive team with an identity.

Sixers two biggest flaws

I like how people pretend like every one of our losses in a vacuum don't matter and they can all be justified and explained.

but then the Christmas game against Milwaukee is some super concrete proof that we would destroy them in a playoff series.
(and lets be honest, that game meant zero for Milwaukee, they were already like 8 games ahead of us in the standings and it was our first christmas home game in 30 years and it was our players Super Bowl and emotions were high for us)

Wait people aren't worried about teams which are seated higher than them ? Wtf has the Sixers won recently ? Lmao. This team is too disenfranchised to be this cocky.

Talent wins and we have A LOT MORE than Tor. Sorry if this hurts your feelings but it’s just a fact your roster is not that good.

Silly duck,

You had more talent last year and lost

You have significantly less talent this year and lost your closer, as did we.

Nothing really indicates you guys beat us in a series. It's gonna go down to the wire again. You're being a bit of a homer.

Sorry..... you’d make a good old timer squad, but when Everything is equal , schedules are the same in the playoffs , we’ll dust you off in 5,6 games tops. Your talent level is nowhere near Philadelphia’s. Go back to your own homer site.

Sixer fans have been claiming they'd be dusting teams for a few years now. Trust the process I guess ? You'd think you won a title recently with this confidence.

Two first round picks plus salary. It seems like a no-brainer given the guys we're targeting with picks (defensive specialists). Just go get the difference maker and give Embiid a shot at a title.

Gross. If they're trading two firsts they need to do a hell of a lot better than Derrick Rose.

So who are we trading today? I say Tobias Harris. I'm kind of fed up with his inconsistency. He got max, and now it's clear that he is not a max player. He is not even a 2nd option on a playoff team.
Without Embiid and JRich, he can't score 25.

He is still young, so he is very tradeable even with the max contract. I'd like to explore what we can get for him if I were Elton Brand.

Admittedly there was some guy called Jimmy Butler playing for the Sixers when they pushed the Raptors all the way in the play-offs last year, but there was also some guy called Kawhi Leonard playing for the Raptors in that series and all through the play-offs.

I don’t see the Raptors repeating without Kawhi, while there is perhaps some chance of the Sixers coalescing around a healthy Embiid to win it all, a healthy Embiid for the whole play-offs being in the realm of the highly unlikely of course.

We should trade Iggy for Kevin Martin or Rudy Gay.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
