Sac would need a sweetener here. Realistically, we'd probably have to include Shake to get it done.

I like it (seems fair for the Pels and more than fair for us), but I feel like Sac would need more to accept.

This is like... my perfect roster for next season.
My perfect lineup next season is:

Center- Embiid/Bjelica
Forward- Simmons/Melli
Wing- Covington/Thybulle
Guard- Hield/Redick/Korkmaz
Guard- Jrue/C. Joseph

If it means Zhaire, Shake, Thunder pick, and future picks are all gone, then I'm okay with that. I think that lineup can win a title.

Something like Horford to Houston, Harris to Sacramento, Richardson to NOP and fill in the rest.

Seems like he wants out, his deal is long and pricey and he's a pretty one dimensional player. Not great for trade value.

He can want out it doesn’t matter he signed for a while and his contract decreases in sales every year. Absolutely no way you trade him for Harris or Al insane to even entertain such an offer and McNair won’t

The fact you’re on here lurking is clearly an indication you know it could happen.
There’s reports the kings wanted Horford in the off season and were willing to give him a similar contract.
He hasn’t played bad enough to suggest the drop off in value to the teams who were high on him.
You have a different front office but same owner and if Sixers offered Thybulle along with him then I’m confident they would say yes.

Great starting five, but that bench is giving me all kinds of diseases

edit: tbf it isn't abhorrent but some ~shooting, bigger wing depth is direly missing like a Terrence Ross / Thad Young / PJ Tucker

I don’t understand how one can be a Kings fan and not expect the organization to get fleeced on every trade.

Just keep the Buddy Hield trade simple. Hield and Bjelica for Tobias Harris.

Kings get a upgrade in front court and talent. Tobias is a solid piece around fox and bagley

Bagley
Harris
Barnes
Bognan
Fox

Philly adds more shooting and get a disgruntled player who fits better.

Hopefully the Harden, Mclemore for Embiid, Josh Richardson and OKC 1st happens. D’Antoni special.

Horford/ Scott/ Pelle
Simmons/ Bjeclicka
mclemore / thybulle / Korkmaz
Hield/ Zhiare
Harden/ Milton

Its not that simple. Sacramento would need more to absorb Tobi's contract. It would likely be something closer to Tobi, Korkmaz, two 2nds for Hield and one of Parker/Dedmond (Bjelica wouldn't be a guy they just throw in).

Either way, I'd still make that deal.

I'm thinking Simmons is out and Harden is in.

Horford
Simmons

For

Harden
Covington

Who says no?

Rockets look to trade Westbrook to NYK or something and build around Horford at C and Simmons at PF.

2nd trade

Hield

For

Richardson
Zhaire

Why for Sac? Get a young prospect and a good player for someone who doesn't want to be there any more. If Richardson doesn't accept a bench role, then they can look to trade him at the deadline but he's much easier to trade than Buddy due to the salary difference.

Why for Sixers? What better player for a volume 3pt shooting offense than Buddy?

Sixers roll out:

Embiid
Harris
Covington
Hield
Harden

Bench is Scott/Korkmaz/Thybulle/Shake

With Covington or Scott as a small ball 5 when Embiid needs rest.

That team, under MDA's offense, is better than the 2020 Sixers and Rockets. That team legit competes for a Chip for the next 3 seasons at least.

If we plan to keep Simmons + Embiid and move Harris to the 4, then the question ultimately becomes what return can we get for a package centered around Horford/Richardson/+? Hield/Bjelica, Holiday/Redick, LaVine/Young?

Horford/Richardson/Smith/#21/#36/2021 NYK 2nd for LaVine/Young

Simmons(34)/Milton(14)
LaVine(34)/Korkmaz(8)/Milton(6)
Thybulle(30)/Harris(10)/Korkmaz(8)
Harris(24)/Young(24)
Embiid(30)/MLE(18)

Simmons/Milton/Micic
LaVine/Korkmaz/#49
Thybulle/Scott/Shayok
Harris/Young/#34
Embiid/MLE/Pelle
2023-2024 Philadelphia 76ers:

Lowry/Melton/Payne
Maxey/Hield/Council
Oubre/Batum/Martin
Harris/Covington/Wilson
Embiid/Reed/Bamba

I'd do it, but would imagine Chicago would aim to keep Lavine around and give him a shot under Donovans system.

Noticed you plugged Micic in the depth chart. I wonder if that's something we're considering for next year. Hinkie has been gone for years and we still have random assets of his kicking around.

There were reports that Micic isn't planning on coming over this year due the question marks with covid

I think Simmons and Harris are kept.
I could see one of Embiid or Horford traded.
J-Rich and Smith are likely gone.

Embiid, J-Rich, Smith for Harden, Covington?

Simmons - Milton
Harden - Korkmaz
Covington - Thybulle
Harris - Scott
Horford - 6m MLE (Baynes)

In actual reality, I'd be pretty shocked if Embiid or Simmons get moved. I think the most likely scenario is Horford+assets for a guard.

Wiggins and 2 for Simmons works.

Horford for Capella and Demond does, too, where one becomes Embiid’s backup and one gets flipped for a player at a different position (like James Johnson from the Wolves to give them a legit backup to KAT).

Cap that off by trading down a few spots and grabbing Hayes or even Halli over the better passing, worse shooting Ball.

Dedmond was traded to ATL for Parker.
