I'd have to think if the Knicks have any shot at landing Devin Booker, so do we. Wonder if Phoenix has any true desire to trade him for the right price.

Harris + Thybulle + Korkmaz + OKC 1st + NYK 2nd for Booker + Lecque (filler)

Simmons/Milton/Lecque
Booker/VET/Smith
Richardson/Shayok/2ND
MLE/Scott/2ND
Embiid/Horford/Pelle
2023-2024 Philadelphia 76ers:

Lowry/Melton/Payne
Maxey/Hield/Downtin
Oubre/Batum/Council
Harris/Covington/Martin

Add the perfect vet combo point guard to the team in Holiday. Also bring back Redick who wants to end his career here.

Holiday korkmaz Simmons Harris Embiid
Shake Redick thybulle Scott Pelle
Shayok Roebuck .... shooters , shooters , shooters...

Pelicans add JRich and Horford get much better overall. Adding positional needs , fits and veteran leadership

No offense, but they would be able to get a way better offer for Booker than that.

Meh, people say that for every available star and that imagined proposal never materializes. In Booker's case, he's an offensive star, but likely wouldn't be traded for the types of packages two-way stars go for.

I hear you, but I don't think the 76ers will be able to get this trade done without Simmons or Embiid. Booker is their franchise player and is around the same age as the other core guys of Ayton and Oubre.

At some point, the Embiid/Simmons duo gotta get the job done. Can't keep swinging for a big 3rd piece.

I'd rather do a small trade with Phoenix to get Rubio, Bridges, and Jerome.

That package barely has positive value if any. Harris is one of the worst contracts in the league

I hate that Chris Paul trade.

All in on Jrue and Redick for Horford, Josh Richardson, Zhiare Smith, 2 FRP's and rights to Micic.
Love this team.

New Orleans isn't trading Holiday & Redick for that package.

Chris Paul and Gallianari trade is flat out lame. Harris and shake... Nope...

I think JRich,Horford,Zhiare, rights to Micic and 3 future FRP's is plenty of ammo to get a Jrue and Redick trade.

76ers need a big combo guard who defends multiple possitions and can play on and off all equally effective like Harris does already . We don't need a ball dominate shrimp like Chris Paul.
Jrue was an all-star 7 years ago stop hyping him up value wise. He fits the guard role perfectly
On this team .

Pelicans get much better and secure assets. JRich healthy is ideal shooting guard they can use to pair with Lonzo to replace what Jrue brings. Horford is better than Favors and all bigs they have not named Zion. All those late 1sts for horfords contract and 2 prospects that may can contribute right away next year. Cmon man.

I think the above package is fair value for Jrue/JJ. I just wonder if Jrue is the shot-creator/maker we need down the stretch. At best, he could play a Billups-like role but I wonder if that’s enough in today’s league. I’d be more comfortable if we could somehow follow-up with a Harris-CJ swap.

Holiday(34)/CJ(14)
CJ(20)/JJ(28)
Thybulle(30)/Korkmaz(18)
Simmons(34)/Scott(14)
Embiid(30)/MLE(18)

As a sixers fan, I'm saying no thanks. Too much to give up.

Harris, Thybulle and Kork are fantastic complements to Simmons and Embiid.

If Shake is a consistent scorer as an off-guard/secondary ball handler, then the combined offensive output from the above 3 plus Shake will more than make up for Booker.

And there is more flexibility with lineups. And better defense. And not putting all eggs in one basket, etc.

Let Simmons and Embiid be the stars and let these other guys shine around them.

JRich is the one I'd consider trading at this point. Shorter contract, going to want lots of money, inconsistent play, and probably the most valuable asset currently in trade talks.

I don't think that Booker deal really would put us in the conversation, but I do think we'd be stupid not to do it if possible. Getting a perimeter based primary option in the halfcourt to go with Ben and Jo is a no brainer. Filling out the role players around them really wouldn't be all that difficult.

Jrue Holiday type playmaker /initiator is a must for this team next year.

Josh Richardson, Horford, Zhiare, Micic and 2 -3 late frps is plenty of return for Holiday and Redick.

Embiid/ Pelle/ 3rd string stretch C
Tobias /Scott/ Simmons
Simmons/ korkmaz / Shayok/ Roebuck
Thybulle/ Redick
Holiday/Shake/ Simmons

The way would run this offense thru Embiid. When he’s off the floor run and shoot teams to death. The defense in the starting unit and with Embiid and Pelle rim protecting is absolutely elite. Tobias, Holiday and Shake can create so that’s that. Simmons and Thybulle should be finishers , secondary slashers and can be corner 3pt threats. This team is absolutely dangerous and complete for years .

POR passes on Harris for CJ. Add Thybulle for your choice of Simons/Little/Trent and that works.

Understandable if that doesn’t work for PHI but Zhaire et al are not incentive.

Definitely warming up more and more to this, especially with the new line-up change. Shake could either start alongside Jrue or be a 6th-man in the Lou Will mold.

Holiday(20)/Milton(28)
Redick(24)/Korkmaz(12)/Holiday(12)
Harris(20)/Thybulle(28)
Simmons(34)/Harris(14)
Embiid(30)/MLE(18)

Extremely balanced 9-man rotation that I think would be on par with the top 3 teams in the league today. If Simmons starts shooting and making threes, then the sky's the limit.

How sweet would it be to come full circle with Jrue and win a chip with him?

SAS out: Rudy Gay
SAS in: Mike Scott and Zhaire Smith

OKC out: Dennis Schroder and Steven Adams
OKC in: Rudy Gay and Al Horford

Phi out: Al Horford, Mike Scott, Zhaire Smith
Phi in: Dennis Schroder and Steven Adams

Why for SAS: Gay will be on expiring deal, and so will Scott. Picking up Zhaire and his potential to develop is why SAS does this deal. They aren't winning any time soon, so they get another developmental piece.

Why for OKC: Schroder and Adams will be expiring. Losing Schroder gives more minutes to Shai. Horford and Gay fit their lineup better and help CP3 chase a ring.

Why for Phi: Get out of Horfords contract, especially when he won't be playing much with Ben at the 4. Schroder can start or backup Shake, but gives Brett an alternative PG and a camp competition. Adams can be backup to Embiid or can be traded.
