New Orleans can do way better than that.

The primary objective should be getting a top notch two way guard that can be an upgrade over Josh Richardson while using him to move Horford contract and Zhaire potential to get a better fit.

Hesitant to move Tobias for the typical CJ Mcc or Paul trades because I prefer his age, skillset, size, fit , leadership, durability over those guys. He's a matchup problem when on the floor as the other forward next to Ben at either 3 or 4 position

Ideally JRich,Horford ,Zhiare and picks for Holiday and Redick is a perfect scenario.

Buddy Hield and Holmes for JRich ,Horford and Zhiare.

Horford,JRich and Zhiare for Paul I guess...

Bradley Beal for Harris, JRich and Horford . Although makes wizards better just sounds unrealistic.

Ben for Devin Booker. Who says no?

Can we put together a deal for Luke Kennard? Maybe send Richardson somewhere and net Kennard in a 3 way deal? Salary matching might be an issue.

Zhaire/OKC 1st? Probably not enough since Zhaire is basically cap filler at this point.

I don't think I'd deal Richardson for him. Can't see a Shake/Kennard backcourt working out too well defensively. Maybe Thybulle is ready to start next year, but who knows?

The semi realistic dream to me would still be a Lavine for Richardson ++

Possibly throw Porter in there who's one of the better 3&D wings in the league when healthy

Let’s get even more realistic.

Holiday and Redick for Horford,JRich, Zhiare , rights to Micic and picks package.

Make Embiid happier.

Get an all star caliber guard and his buddy Redick back.

Jrue/ Shake
Thybulle/ Redick
tobi / Korkmaz
Simmons/ Scott
Embiid / Pelle

Maybe resign Burks .

Wiz fan coming in peace.

Would you guys ever consider a Beal for Embiid swap?

Horford/Simmons/Harris/Beal/Richardson would be nice

Beal, Bryant, and the Wiz 2020 1st unprotected for Embiid and Norvelle Pelle.

Horford/Bryant
Simmons/Scott
Harris/Korkmaz
Richardson/Thybulle
Beal/Tyrese Haliburton/Tyrell Terry

I think I could get on board that train.

Haliburton eventually takes over as starting PG when JRich asks for too much money, Beal slides to SG. Bryant is groomed behind Horford.

I'd hate to lose Embiid, because of very obvious reasons. But at the same time, I think Simmons is the more reliable star who has more overall talent and is way more versatile than Joel, healthier and has a better leadership attitude than Embiid who seems to blame his teammates a lot.

Beal as a go-to perimeter threat relieves Ben of feeling pressure to be this jump shooting Guard while allowing Ben to keep pushing the pace all game and not slowing things down to feed the post.

Horfors as a trailing big in the offense while Tobias and Ben work the high and low posts.

I think that is a better constructed roster for the NBA today than what the Sixers currently have.

I’d throw in TB, but probably not this years 1st. I’m high on Haliburton too.

But for arguments sake...

Horford/Bryant
Simmons
Harris/Thybulle
Beal/Korkmaz
Richardson/Haliburton

might be the best 9 man rotation in the league in terms on talent, fit and upside. Not to mention Simmons and Beal would compliment each other better than any other star duo in the league outside of LeBron and AD IMO.

No. You could argue that the roster would fit better, but you don't trade your best player for the sake of fit (better fit does not mean better results). Embiid is a considerably better player than Beal.

Beal would be an amazing 3rd guy to have with Embiid and Simmons, but the Sixers have pissed away too many assets to make that happen. Unless you're willing to accept a package around Harris and a bunch of stuff (picks, Thybulle, Richardson, Shake, whatever).

I disagree here. Embiid is a superior player, yes. When healthy. And motivated. And in shape.

But Beal is exactly the prototype of a player you would want to pair Simmons with.

And the value of getting Beal plus other assets for Embiid is on point.

Its really a matter of whether you can say confidently that you see Embiid/Simmons winning a championship together or not.

I personally struggle to see that happening.

But I can see a Beal/Simmons duo winning it all.

I think without the 1st, maybe there is one other piece that gets sent to Philly. They wouldn't pull the trigger on trading The Process, who has stated on multiple occasions his intentions to be in Philly his whole career, without a "blow me away" package. And I think even with Beal and Bryant, there would need to be more.
