He posted less. Sealed his man more, spot up more and attack face up from top of the key more

Holding a team with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George that shot 45% from 3 to 103 is no joke.

Great win, loved seeing Josh step up like he did. Simmons and Embiid were both terrific, and it was good to see them not settling for bad shots down the stretch other than a couple of trips. Loved the aggressiveness on both ends. Now it's up to Brett to fine tune the rotations.

Cant wait to watch the replay...

Thybulle with the reg starters minus Horford.

Starters with Al then when Clips went to having Morris at center, we inserted Thybulle instead of Al.

They went small because they had no answer for the Al/Joel lineup

There are some games when you feel the opponent raised their white flag against us due to inability to match-up with our size. This was one of them.

19 and 11 is not much disparity. Specially when Sixers tries to bullyball their way against smaller Clips.

The key is for Furkan to continue playing well.

If he’s starting and defenses are respecting him it opens up more space for everyone else.

If Furkan can get more consistent...this starting 5 is gonna be lethal.

A bench of Burks/GR3/Thybulle/Horford is pretty nasty too

The refs weren’t great tonight...for the Sixers.
This take from PG is trash.

I like the idea of GRIII starting, he seems like a solid role player on both sides of the ball that can get his shot up if he has too.

Loved his cutting for Ben and we haven't even seen his best trait which is his shooting

Burks, Thybulle, Horford is an elite bench trio. Furky too

I think the sixers are allowed to be more physical defensively at home. Im sure every team gets that luxury but because we are big with good to great defenders it gives us an added edge at home.

Tobias playing more 4 made a huge difference. He can attack off the dribble against bigger defenders. I wonder if the analytics would show the biggest difference in separating Al from Embiid is actually Tobias' increased production at the 4. That would be my hypothesis.

Haven't seen this much optimism in a game thread this whole season. And I love it!

Yes, this was our best game of the season (even better than the Bucks one). I guess we are going to find the balance in rotations after all. Moving Al to the bench is a great move. And with additions of GRIII and Burks, we can always mix our rotations the team on the floor looks like a starting team.
This was the game where you had a feeling that for 48 minutes, you always had a variation of a starting lineup in the game, and that's a good strategy by Brett.

Also, with so many guards that can hit the 3 now (Burks, GRIII, Kork, Thybulle, JRich), you just need one or two of them to have a decent nights and with Joel, Ben and Harris having a regular games, you win against anybody.

I got so much satisfaction out of this game, I can't describe it. Let's make a run now!

I love that they went to the Ben/Embiid screen on the post several times. That play has many options that Ben can decide to take. Whether to shoot it himself (making the shot or going to the FT) or pass to Embiid or pass to the 3 point line. Could this play be their version of Stockton to Malone?

Paul George was just mad he got outplayed by Jrich and played lazy for most of the game. After realizing the sixers wasnt going to allow him to take open shots thats when he started trying to bait the refs

He can wait till the sixers visit them in LA to get his star calls.

It was damn near unstoppable. Ultimately I think the height and quickness advantage Ben had on Kahwhi and Embiid on Zubac proved favorable.

I wonder (for playoff purposes) if it would be as effective against a siakim/gasol , lebron/AD or giannis/lopez combo?

With the pairings that you mentioned, I think Embiid will be the finisher of the play most of the time since they will just switch the pick and roll.
