Cacacorrrot embraced Embiid after the game but I remember him blatantly ignoring Simmons a couple of years back.

G - Simmons
G - Shake
G - Burks
F - Harris
C - Embiid

Should probably be our starting/end of game lineup.

Good game you guys, I knew we weren't going to hold you guys off forever.

Good luck the rest of the way this season.

Great game by Burks. What a difference it makes to have an NBA player on the floor instead of freaking James Ennis.

I don't see Burks as a starter, i like him as a spark scorer of the bench, Lou Williams style.

If he can be a version of Lou for us, that would be great. I was cursing him up until the third quarter and by the end of the game, I was thanking Elton Brand for making the trade.

Took a month or two off my life, but glad the game played out the way it did. Fought through a lot of adversity to snatch that win. Good sign for a team trying to come together.

One of embiid’s best games of the season. Not just on offense either, his defensive activity was great. Very impressed.

Embiid completely out of gas with less than a minute left in regulation. We lucky we pulled it out. If Nets were smart. Jordan would have been in game at the end of regulation instead of chandler. He gets the Dunk instead of chandler getting Blocked.

Tobias is balling? You high? Trade him for Shamet in a heart beat

If Al Horford was a horse they would take him out back and shoot him. The number 1 offseason move they have to make is to get rid of that contract.

You're going to have to be prepared to lose Thybulle and another player as well to get it done.

Neto cannot be playing anymore except in blowouts.

Horford was a -26 in 18 minutes.

Traded two firsts and Shamet for Tobias Harris. :nonono:

Glad they won, but this game still feels like a loss.

Depends on what you're trying to get back. A functional piece? Or just salary relief and removing him from the roster?

Lol at folks still babbling about "Shamet" and two worthless picks whilst trying to pretend like Tobias isn't a 20 ppg player SMH

Neto played 28 minutes. Even with Ben out he shouldn't have logged more than 12. Not sure what Brett was thinking there as Burke and Shake were clearly better options on both ends.

Either or. I can't see a team taking on that contract for a player that age.. and in return giving us anything remotely close to a player we want.

The deal I thought made sense the most was to approach Golden State with a swap for Horford and D'Angelo Russell. He was surplus to their requirements and they are in the last few years of a championship window starting next year. Horford filled a spot they need at the 5... and Russell would have given us the shooting and playmaking we badly need. The salaries and years on their contract were almost identical.

It makes me wonder if Elton even bothered to pick up the phone.

Playing like he's rediscovered himself. Hitting the boards, euto-stepping, hustling for chase down blocks, getting to the line at will.

Welcome back, Joel Embiid.

Unclear if Brett Brown coached after they got down 20.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
