Lol are you seriously suggesting it’s only fans that expected the Embiid/Simmons/Horford lineup to work. The FO obviously expected to use Horford for more than like 8 minutes a game as a backup to Embiid. Pretending like fans are the ones with the unrealistic expectations when the Horford lineup was such a disaster they had to move him to the bench at the all star break is like shameful level gaslighting.

What do you mean? You’re suggesting Horford is doing what was expected and we have the unrealistic expectations when which would have to assume the FO either (a) knew our starting lineup with Horford would have issues; or (b) really did expect him to play like 10 minutes a game and Brett just went rogue. Either makes no sense. They obviously expected Embiid/Simmons/Horford to fit and they didn’t. If you told them Horford’s value would strictly be as Embiid insurance they almost certainly go a different direction and overpay someone else.
