The loss of Dinwiddie for them was major. The depth there when Kyrie and KD step off the floor isn't good besides relying on Levert to iso-chuck.

Washed DJ nor Allen are great rim protectors either.

Caris LeVert is comically overrated. Imagine people pissing themselves that the Rockets would be stupid enough to take him as the centerpiece for James freaking Harden

I'd be their best defender

KD?

KD hasn't been a consistent defender the 3 or so games I've watched. He could just be pacing as I haven't seen a drop off due to injury of anything like that. The rest of them are certified sieves though. Dinwiddie was a huge loss and this game they rebounded like crap too.

Check what Robert Covington is averaging right now. It now makes sense why he doesnt ask for a higher contract.

This rafael stone guy could be really smart. The Wood signing, wall trade the the Roco trade were big wins.

Covington is decent but he’s one of the more overrated players in the NBA. He is a prime example why you need to add some eye test to analytics. If he was so good he wouldn’t be on 4 teams in two years now.
always a jump shot away.

Warriors is spending $173M for this team. That’s like $50M above the cap right?

Is the championship wide open?

Lakers doesnt look too good. It looks like their gamble isnt paying off.

Nets are good but not THAT good.

Let's be fair to the Lakers. When Playoff LeBron shows up and has the supporting cast he has, they will be the favorite.

The East is wide open. I'm not betting against Lebron based on a handful of games.

I'm not going to dump on Brett for Wood because plenty of coaches refuse to play rookies who don't know how to play basketball. But it was obvious that Wood was a player worth being patient for. He wasn't even that bad, despite looking clueless always.

I feel like Morey would have kept him.

He may have been better but he was not ready mentally to make the contribution then like he is now. He was immature and inconsistent. He needed to taken down a peg or two before he could become the player he is now. We are going to see a lot more of this type of player trajectory as more, straight from high school, players are eligible to join the association.
The Accession of Paul Reed is upon us !

You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

I think the general concensus was the talent was there, but what was between the ears. Glad he could get it together, but I don't think the talent part is a surprise to many.

What happened to the best player we gave up to the Clippers for the Tobias trade? Probably can get him for a couple of 2nd rounders

Gotta be something weird off the court that won't come to light.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
