Why would anyone want a Morris twin for longer than a 1 year deal? The whole point in getting one of those guys is to keep them on short leash so they control themselves.

Damn. Free agency showing that guys who can put the ball in the hoop from deep are getting PAID...

So glad Morey recognized this well before it started and added 3 of those types of guys for super cheap.

That's how you know it's time to designate that skill (shooting) as grossly overrated and pivot back to what has always won out in the sport of basektball(defense and scoring off the dribble).

Montrezl and Schroeder are super great addition for the champs. Those two are very good starters to borderline stars.

The Lakers biggest problem is the lack of talent with their 3rd and 5th best guys. They were relying on guys like Kuz and Danny Green for production.

Montrezl and Schroeder are huge upgrades

Rox probably is regretting doing that Roco deal.

RW-Harden-Roco-Wood would have been nice IMO

I don't understand prioritizing scoring production over defense from ancillary pieces when you have two hall of famers giving you a consistent 50+ a game between them.

The only reason the Lakers won that vacation tournament despite a lack of shotcreation is because they had unexploitable defenders at nearly every spot in their rotation, sans Kuzma.

The more I watched Harrell in the playoffs the more I realized he fits a role, but his overall impact is vastly overrated necause his D is horrendous. The Schroeder and Wes Matthews pickups are far more winning moves to me.

Both defense and offense were a factor but I think offense was a bigger factor.

AD and Rondo, two negative floor spacers were shooting like 38% from 3. They got on a hot shooting streak on the right time.

Lakers had 115ORTg for the playoffs, that would he the best offense if it was the regular season. If you look at the numbers, lakers actually played slightly worse defense than in regular season.

He is more of a regular season then a playoff player. But i think playing with AD and Bron will make him a lot better.

Like during the regular season, you can have montrezl at C. But in the playoffs he was eaten alive by Jokic

So the Roco deal enabled the Rox to get woods.

Brilliant move then

I'd want to see Wall play a few games but if he's something around 75% I do it. Not sure why the Wizards would.

Lakers are looking to sign Marc Gasol to replace D12.

Should we had went for Gasol instead? Gasol was the league’s best 3pt shooting big.

If Wall flops, that is one big hole hard to get out.

I’d probably need multiple firsts for that deal. Enough firsts that i can deal him to a team like the Bulls or Hornets to absorb his contract.

I would have. Smarter player, better personality, excellent mentor for Embiid.

Dwight brings some interesting qualities to the table, too, though, so I'm not mad.

Losing Jerami Grant is a big setback for the Nuggets. Nuggets willing to match that $20M per year contract speaks volume

I think the problem is you can’t play both Gasol and Biid while Lakers has shown you can play D12 with another big.

Gasol would be so perfect for Ben. Imagine Ben bringing down the ball, his defender sagging off him. He then hands the ball off to Gasol who’s trailing for an above the break 3.

Gasol could also be a high post playmaker then have a a screen play between Ben and seth, similar to what Spo run with Jimmy and Hero. If the defender doesnt switch, Ben could have an easy basket or Seth can get an open 3.

I understand what the Mavs are doing. They’re basically trying to build a team that can beat the Clippers, the team they lost to in the playoffs.

So the Thunder are getting in on the Jrue deal and sending Adams to NOP. Thunder are going to pump and dump Horford

Also, not sure I like Adams and Zion together, but Zion made it work with Favors and Adams is an upgrade.

Horford is going to be so good for them with Adams gone. Presti is going to get a first rounder for him next offseason.
