Honestly, if we got those 3 things I'd say, successful season.

One more to go Harris you lispy god king

Morey hring basically cuts Scott's balls off..I doubt he'd listen to him at all. So as long as he makes the right moves, Scott can go cry in the corner

Yeah this. With Daryl Morey here we don't have to worry about Snake O'Neil any more.

I dont know much of the Rox new head coach, but isnt he more like a coach of a rebuilding team than a coach you’d hire if you are looking to compete?

He's been an assistant in the league for almost 20 years and was an interim head coach in Charlotte, he's not Rivers or anything but he's as qualified as say Nurse or Spolestra were to take over good teams.

MDA going to Brooklyn as an assistant coach to Nash. All they need is Marion and Barbosa to complete the reunion. I wonder if Nash will also implement the 7 secs or less offense.

Im ok with it. Like Nash had experience with the GSW so he can integrate what he learned with that experience.

But.. Amare? I’m also not a fan of Udoka unlike some of the people here.

I’d rather Doc’s style of having specialists on his staff. Like Burke for defense, cassell for offense and joeger for bully ball.

Just listened to Woj when he talked about Silas. He sounds like an offensive specialist and is experienced. But IMO you need a larger than life coach to handle Harden and RW.

It could be ok for now. But when the storm comes, we’ll see.

Sounds like a transitional coach to me. They must be pretty certain that Harden is going to demand a trade (if he hasn't already).

Haven’t been following league news about the upcoming season. So are we likely looking to play inside a bubble again?

No plans for a bubble. Plan is to be in home arenas, beyond that they haven’t drilled much down yet.

Great! I hate the bubble.

It’s going to be tricky not playing in the bubble.

Im guessing the vaccine should play a big role if that pushes through.

Despite what you may have heard, the vague time line given for the "vaccine is right around the corner" means absolutely nothing.
There is still no definitive timeline on when a vaccine will be available and how much of it is going to be available.

So the NBA when figuring out what do do with their schedule and how to play games can't bank on the vaccine. It would be foolish to do so. You may not like the bubble, but it worked.
The Accession of Paul Reed is upon us !

They aren't, which is why the owners moved up their proposed start date to December 22. Originally they wanted to wait to get full arenas but with that now looking unlikely they're now prioritizing getting a full season in and playing on the landmark dates like Christmas and MLK for the TV money.

New season dec 22.
Rooting for rockets to lose every game is our new lottery pick watch.
Let’s see how good Silas is. The team may have a hard time adjusting if he integrates a new system.

Perhaps I'm in the minority here but I don't think the Nets are going to be anywhere near as successful as they think they'll be. Their two stars (one a head case and often injured) and the other coming off a serious injury and is two years older since he last played.

I'm predicting KD will not be the same player now, there will be squabbling and finger pointing as the team struggles, Kyrie will somehow be injured again, maybe KD too and the team will become a soap opera instead of a basketball team

This is all only my personal opinion but I think Brooklyn will be a circus by mid season.

I think Bucks will end up with atleast Oladipo or CP3, if Giannis signs a long extension with them.

Sure they’d be really good short term, but they’d cap themselves out long term specially if they have to overpay for an aging CP3.

Im expecting the Celts and the Raps to get atleast a borderline C like Whiteside. Maybe trade future picks for Drummond?
