Well, T&T board thinks it's way undervalued for him. Outside of one of the Portland guards, I can't think of a better third star to add to either Ben/Jo or Tobias/Jo.

If Simmons continues to have the impact of a high-end role player, he almost has to get moved this summer, right?

I get that assisted FG% is your current obsession, but I don't think you're factoring in the overall volume here.

44% of his 2 point attempts are assisted... that still leaves 9 unassisted 2 point FGA per game.

He's also at 9.1 PnR possessions and 2.3 iso possessions per game.

He's a very good, multifaceted scorer. His ability score at a high level both on and off the ball feels like exactly what you want to go with Simmons and Embiid.

That said, if people have the misconception that he's some James Harden level, dominant on ball scorer, and want to give up that kind of package for him... Sure, he's not that guy.

Is anyone here a believer we can get Malcolm Brogdon this summer?
Is it possible we resign Korkmaz for like 3 years 28M and trade him and George Hill + picks and swaps for Brogdon?

Anything is possible, but that idea doesn't seem very likely.

If the Sixers perform well in playoffs, like ECF or NBA Finals, I highly doubt they trade Simmons or Harris. That’s how I see the roster next season if that’s the case.

C - Embiid (31.5) / FA(3) / rookie (2)
F - Harris (36) / Reed(1.5) / vet (2)
F - Green (10) / Thybulle (3) / Joe
G - TRADE (20-25) / Curry(8) / Joe(1.5)
G - Simmons (31.5) / Milton (2) / Maxey (2.5)

That’s 155 million total.

If the Sixers fail in the 1st round or semis, I think Morey trades Simmons or Harris in the off-season.

I think Tobias for CJ is a real possibility. Even if they lose to BKN in the ECF's.

At this point, I'd consider Simmons/Hill for CJ/Covington/picks if we can't pry away Lillard from Portland.

I'd also consider Simmons for Beal IF we could acquire a defensive 3/4 via the same trade or free agency. Otherwise, it's just too big of a defensive dropoff to consider IMO.

MIN out: Rubio, Edwards, 2024 & 2026 FRPs, 2023 & 2025 FRP swaps
MIN in: Simmons

PHI out: Simmons, Hill, Maxey
PHI in: Beal, Rubio

WSH out: Beal
WSH in: Edwards, Maxey, Hill, 2024 & 2026 MIN FRPs, 2023 & 2025 MIN FRP swaps

Rubio(28)/Curry(20)
Beal(34)/Milton(10)/Curry(4)
Thybulle(28)/MLE(10)/Milton(10)
Harris(34)/MLE(14)
Embiid(32)/Howard(16)

Rubio/Curry/1st
Beal/Milton/Joe
Thybulle/MLE/Brazdeikis
Harris/FA/2nd
Embiid/Howard/Reed

I like the idea of trading Ben to Minnesota for Edwards, filler, and picks; and then using part of that package to get Beal.

The next player to monitor would be Kawhi. It's a long shot because he wants to play in LA and the Clippers have squandered all their assets in order to build this team. However, it is likely that the team will again fail to even reach the finals and if that's the case the writing should be on the wall. Maybe Simmons+ multiple firsts is a good rebuilding package for them.

Beal will get traded, probably sooner rather than later, i am just not very high on him.

Hopefully, Simmons will look good in the playoffs and we will not feel forced to trade him.

Over the last year, Bradley Beal had become the most overrated player in the league. The NBA probably has 30 guys in the league that can score 30 ppg, on losing team, in this scoring environment.

The team that trades a huge package for Beal will immediately realize they've set their team back years, once he's off Washington.

Is this the first time a player has become this overrated because his teams are always terrible?

He's a stat padder. Not necessarily a selfish stat padder, but a guy who scores in bunches when the other team isn't playing hard. Teams aren't concocting defenses or trapping Beal, for fear that he'll beat them. They're just playing that team straight up, and letting him do his thing while they beat them by 10-20 every game.

People want to trade All-stars and multiple picks for him. CJ Mccollum can do everything Beal can do, and you could've probably got him for close to nothing, before they traded Gary Trent away.

Would you trade re-signed Korkmaz + Curry + Maxey + Hill + 2021 FRP + 2023 FRP + 2022 swap + 2024 swap for him?

If Portland decides to keep Powell... Harris for CJ could be a deal in the summer.

I wouldn’t trade Harris for CJ. I believe Harris is a better player and it is much harder to find a forward who can do what he does than a guard.
Personally if the Sixers get bounced early I think Simmons has to go and if they go to the finals the whole team returns.

Sixers get worse in this deal and give up draft picks. Makes no sense for the Sixers. Must be a McCollum fan.
I hate this trade for the Sixers.

Give up draft picks? They get 2 frp.
I do think it is something to think about when the opportunity is there.
But then there should be an additional trade for a good exp pg.

We'd be getting the picks.

If it were Dame, I'd be willing to give up picks.
