Yesssssss this is a great move yall. Really couldn't have asked for a better response from the owners and Elton than what they have done this offseason. I mentioned before that things seem to falling into our lap with Rivers and Morey becoming available just when we needed them and now we have the makings of a coaching staff and fo structure that could take us to the promise land hopefully. Lets goooo.

Ok, so Morey doesn’t take this job without autonomy. So that means Elton will either impress Morey and earn his seat, or he will be gone next offseason. Either way, everything goes through Morey now. Which is amazing and an absolute 180° from where this offseason started. It seems to me they are going to shake up the roster something fierce.

Also it is good to see ownership ponying up the cash when it counts. Makes me believe they won’t just dump salary.

It’ll be interesting to see his direction on Embiid, Ben, Tobias, Horford log jam.

Not sure of his relationship with Chris Paul and if a deal would be more or less likely. Either way I doubt we return all four of them.

It's a good thing he stays. He can continue to learn and the organization has a guy in the front office that current and prospective players respect and can interact with.

Well, somebody has to scout Eastern Europe and the Middle East. On another note, I would really like to hear about a new CEO of business operations. Even though I’m sure Morey knows about O’Neil from Hinkie and will keep him out of the room entirely.
