Just to carry over from the other thread, I don't have an issue with people posting the vin fosh stuff, as others have said what else are we gonna do until things actually happen, but to be clear he is very established as just doing a bit. So just like people can post it, people can also respond to the others pointing out it's a bit. Ok? Ok.

Harden to the Nets... sigh. At least we'll have a new villain for everyone to hate. I understand the move, but it kinda reeks of Durant to the Warriors all over again.

Woj said no discussions have happened though with the Nets. This is just Harden wanting it. Still think we can beat that offer.

The woj tweet just reads as Houston front office trying to get Morey to put Ben on the table.

Yeah I have to imagine this leak is simply Harden playing his hand and letting them know if they don't start having trade conversations he is going to be very public and tank the value they will get in return. Not to mention why would he want to go to BKN if the price is Kyrie? He's putting this out there so BKN knows to lowball offer.

And in the same breath Philly now knows if they offer Ben for Harden, they very likely have the best offer on the table in the entire NBA.

Also, Philly could offer Horford (an actual Center), Richardson, Shake, Thybulle, and picks, but likely that offer isn't as good as BKNs Dinwiddie, Allen, LaVert, Prince, Musa, Kurucs and picks.

The Rockets could literally trade Covington and Harden for 6 guys and 3 1st round picks and be pretty well set for the future, before including the Westbrook to NYK trade where they get another 2 good young players and more picks.

Meanwhile the nets run out Kyrie/Harden/Covington/Durant/Jordan and fill in vet minimums off the bench.

Don't want to do Ben for Harden at all. Some of you are severely under rating him. Morey got a boat load of cash. Hopefully he earns it and works with Horford, Richardson, Harris 1st and doesn't take the easy, lazy route...

On the other hand, an Harden-Irving-Durant dynamic could be very entertaining to see

Yeah I think you need to clarify here.

Some on this board might consider this to be an official "insider" post and then if it doesn't happen they will call you out for being fake haha.

Is this part of your earlier eyeball emoji fluid situations or is this just you posting a truth with no insider backing behind it?

Ben for Harden is foolish. As I said in the other thread it could be as easy as Harris/Matisse/JRich and a ton of FRP.

Yeah Nets can definitely offer more.

Tobi is better than anyone they can offer, although the contract is obviously a big issue. Matisse and JRich are also good, young starters.

Rockets would want to erase the bad effects of the Westbrook's trade in any Harden-trade.
So it's matter of future picks and swaps before matter of players.

It should be reiterated in this new thread: Former MVP James Harden had one of the best offensive seasons ever, period, in 18-19 and will not be acquired for a trade centered around Tobias Harris.

Dinwiddie > Tobias. And LeVert pays for Prince plus some. Add in a couple 1sts, and without Ben there's no way the Sixers can top a Nets offer.
