Zach Lowe thinks it should cost no more than Simmons and a 2nd rounder. He said the Sixers would be insane to trade more than that.

If that’s all it takes to get Harden, I will do it in a heartbeat if he agrees to a extension. Frustrating watching Ben play past few years.

Fertitta is going to attempt to bleed Mory in any trade negotiation, though.
Even though Simmons is clearly the best asset league-wide that he'll get for Harden, he's going to ask for additional draft capital. Probably anywhere from 2-4 future first rounders.

Not sure why it would. It's Fertitta begging for Simmons, not Morey begging for Harden. If Simmons were on the table alone Harden would already be in Camden getting shots up.

Good luck trying to play Morey. He knows what Harden is worth, he knows what Nets can give, he knows the game ...
I feel confident with him aboard. If we don't get Harden, it's because we couldn't make a deal that gave us a shot at the title. If we can't have a shot, you keep Simmons.

He can ask for anything he wants, but he's not gonna get it.
Rockets will be lucky to get Ben Simmons straight up for Harden.
