I don't think the idea that Calipari has been wildly successful and has put a ton of blue chip recruits has crossed some of their minds.

Do you think he should pivot to some of the previous class recruits on his bench to see if they can get something to work or stick with the guys he chose pre-season?

Not much left from previous classes. I think we started the season with Keion Brooks who has a mystery injury and a bunch of walk ons. Keion Brooks will help, but he doesn't provide a whole lot more than a Isaiah Jackson or Jacob Toppin; definitely an off ball, energy defensive guy.

This feels like the Nerlens Noel year, but there isn't the generational defensive talent that Nerlens was. The team, top to bottom, is more talented, but they are clearly not ready for the Kentucky spotlight.

What about Dontaie Allen? I heard he's a prolific shooter that barely misses in practice but Cal doesn't like him for his lack of defense and athleticism. Maybe Allen shoots like Quickley in games and then it opens things up more for the wings like Clarke and Boston.

Because Calipari needs that one guy from every recruiting class who knocks down threes to transfer to a PAC-12 school where he'll start lighting up the scoreboard (Jemarl Baker, Johnny Juzang)

I need a Suggs vs Bouknight showdown this season. Those two are future allstars.

Ron Harper Jr looks like a great future role player. Dude is crushing Illinois.

He needs to lose about 30lbs first.

After the game against Virginia this Saturday, we won't see Suggs play a good team until the tournament. Gonzaga really needs to enter the Pac-12 or something.

Ayo looks so damn legit this year.

30 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and a block against Penn State.

Yet another 30 point game from Ayo against Indiana today. Time to talk lotto for him?

Kentucky drops another one. Now 1-6 for the year.

Terrence Clarke benched after leaving the game early last game and goes scoreless in 16 minutes.

Is Cal going to get fired?

Clarke was injured. He didn't actually leave the game early last game.

And hell no, Cal won't get fired.

I’d say do the Ben for Harden deal. Ben is not a star we need another stud IMO.

I watched Maryland/Michigan the other day. I came away impressed with a couple of guys from Maryland.

Donta Scott stood out in a major way. Big 6'7" 225 pound wing that can handle the ball and create his own shot. His scoring efficiency is very flukey right now, but the way he plays the game seems legit. He just looks comfortable with the ball in his hands.

They also have a 6'5" 195 pound SG that can create off the dribble and finish in traffic and draw free throws named Eric Ayala.

These guys both look like NBA players. Scott looks like an outright first rounder.
