Greg Brown feels like COVID Patrick Williams, meaning that he didn't get the full college experience to prep for the season and was only able to show his ability in flashes. 6'9 with that fluidity is pretty impressive. Goofy 3 ball, but seemingly good defender. I imagine he'll rise up the boards after the combine.

I just have a feeling Cam Thomas, goofy jumpshot and all, is going to come out of this draft as a guy everyone questions why he fell so far. He has one counting stat that everyone gets enamored over and fails at almost everything else. But if he builds upon his scoring ability once in the pros, he's capable of being a 6th man that takes over games. I don't know if distribution is ever going to be his deal and it appears defense is not high on his priorities.

I actually think the draft community came to the right decision on Cam Thomas. In a less sophisticated time, he might go top 5 based on his age, ppg and shooting volume.

I think he's basically a stronger, better version of Immanuel Quickley.

I think Quickley is a better prospect, tbh. He feels like Malik Monk’s offense with a better frame and that’s it. I can’t even understand how he was so bad on defense. I wonder if there is any room for growth in the defensive and distribution department because it’s not easy to find a natural scorer like him. I don’t want him, but I could see him going somewhere and everyone say that he was handcuffed by the LSU system or something.

Maybe an Allonzo Trier comp is warranted here.

After he goes undrafted, we need to bring Austin Reaves to training camp.

This dude is a nasty creator, even though he's insufficient athletically.

Another undrafted guy we could take if we want another TJ McConnell type guard. There's also a chance he withdraws and transfers to Kentucky.

Speaking of Kentucky, Olivier Sarr, much like Cam Thomas, has the offensive game for the NBA: can shoot from anywhere on the court, very fluid athlete with solid post moves, near 80% FT shooter, etc.

His problem is on defense: fouls too much, doesn't rebound well at all, not much of a rim protector despite a huge wingspan and being 7ft.

Not sure there's a fit here, but I could see a team sticking him in the G-League for a few years to bulk up, stop fouling, and grab rebounds.

I really like UNC's Day'Ron Sharpe as a defensive anchor big.

Ayo Dosunmu has certain aspects of his game that concern me, but I am intrigued by his improvement year to year. Good frame, excellent aggressiveness. Wish he shot more threes. I'm not sure if he's going to be a Maxey on offense, not a big three guy but also not a FTr guy. If that's the case, I'm not terribly interested.

His game is very paradoxical in that he's both a subpar slasher and unwilling shooter from deep. He's got talent, but I'm not sure how covetable he is.

I know he's a munchkin, but what if Sharife Cooper is the next great 6' player in the NBA?

Someone in the top 10 should roll the dice. They have nothing to lose.

He's returning to school so he won't be in this draft, but everyone keep an eye on Jaden Ivey in next year's draft.

Catching up on some of my Big 10 scouting and this kid stands out in a major way. Definitely an NBA level guard. His shooting is a major weakness that he'll need to improve during his sophomore season, but damn at his handle and first step. 6'4" 200 pounds, too.

Just saw Remy Martin of Arizona State entered the transfer portal. You guys should be all over him. Fantastic creator with a quick shooting trigger. Basically everything you lacked this season.

Not a direct parallel, but the Sixers could be faced with a similar situation that they were faced with in 2018. They're going to be tempted by the older 3&D player (Chris Duarte) over the young creator with defensive and shooting upside (Josh Christopher).

I'm still salty over not drafting Terence Davis. Actual 3&D with creator upside. We're about to see him becoming a star: past 8 games where they're giving him time he's 16ppg, 1.4 spg, 3apg, 4rpg, 89%FT, 40% 3pt, 49% FG. Then we didn't take a flyer on him when he was available for a second rounder.

Luckily Duarte has more Davis in him than Thybulle.

3 of those games were against OKC, may not be the truest indicator of future stardom...

Peep his per-36 percentages over his time with SAC. Elite attributes in there (57% 2fg, 80% FT, 38% 3FG, 2 STL%).

Now he's actually getting good minutes.

Duarte has bigger skillset then just a 3 and D guy.
This pick makes sense, older can came in and have an immediate impact and won’t be limited as Thybulle.

I can see Christopher going before our pick. It’s just stuck at a weird spot. Don’t want to trade up unless I’m going best player potential (Green).

Mann
Butler
Duarte
Christopher

Could all be off the board before it gets to us. They all have something to work with (and they cover the bases well). Juzang maybe?
Or Springer anyone? I do like the smoothness in his game.

Tre Mann should go top 5.

On his skillset I rate him very polished, though his verticality/frame is questionable. He’s definitely a player
