Filip might be there in the 2nd round (have no idea why lol), he’s going to spend years in the league. Frank Kaminksy 2.0. I’m buying that for sure, dude is NBA quality.

Just saw this on the draft board. Kinda moves like Nerlens to me. His shot looks pretty nice. He's also playing against absolute garbage, so don't know what to make of him yet.

I'm just going to double down on Brandon Boston. He has guard skills and played quality defense for a freshman who was obviously undersized for the physicality. He's exactly the type of player we need: get a year of conditioning, G-League play, and practice with elite defenders like Ben, Thybulle, etc. If he busts, it was a low pick on a blue chip recruit. If he hits, then we extend our title contention window.

Josh Christopher
David Johnson
Trendon Watford

In that order, I think. If you can guarantee me Johnson develops a consistent jumper at the next level, I'd take him first.

Another belabored point, but if Miles McBride falls out of the first round (which he shouldn't), we should do what we can to bring him in. 20 years old, elite college two-way player. Has a pure jump shot and creates shots off the dribble. 2.7 assist to turnover ratio. This is a guy you pair with Ben Simmons.

While I think the "6'11 Point Guard !!!11!" title is exaggerated, I do find value in a 6'11 center who has solid vision (20 AST%) and a solid face up. Seems there is potential there and worth a late second rounder/UDFA camp body. I'm interested to see what his combine numbers are.

I love McBride as a college player, not sure what he'll be in the NBA

I get a little Marcus Smart vibe from him - his competitiveness may be his best skill

I initially wanted to make the Smart connection, but I think Smart is more athletic/longer wingspan. Not necessarily a knock on McBride: he's a better shooter and creator, probably not as good around the rim.

IMO he feels more like Jordan Poole in the way he moves. Better defense than Poole. Poole was more of a chucker in college while McBride was a lead guard. Both aren't incredibly athletic but have intangible abilities that make it work. BTW, Poole just finished with 12 ppg off the bench. I think McBride has better staying power and upside with his skill set.

I like Miles McBride. He brings all the same skills to the table that Jevon Carter did, except as a younger, more talented, slightly more athletic version. Not the best creator, but he's sufficient in that area. Brings additional shooting, defense and passing tools to the table. He'll be a good pro.

Cade is the #1 pick, but I think Scottie Barnes has the biggest upside. If Barnes learns how to shoot, I think he's the best player in this draft IMO.

Evan Mobley is such a landmine. It's Ayton/Bagley all over again. You just know the team that takes Mobley and pass on Barnes and Suggs are going to feel silly almost immediately.

Skimmed the footage, but he has such a soft touch, and the way his movements look when he glides in the air are so composed and elegant

Was only originally intrigued because Givony had him going after our pick so late in the first round. I'm sprinting to the podium to take a flyer on an 18 year old, former 5 star recruit coming off a solid freshman campaign without much debate

My only knock on Springer is his C- or C level creation abilities.

Good defender, good passer, will be a good three point shooter halfway through his rookie contract. Just leaves a little to be desired on the ball as a creator.

Springer is the most realistic one at our pick probably, would be happy with him. Christopher too though he might rise a little bit when workouts come. Josh’s tenacity is great

Jeez Mann/Bouknight at picks 19/20 is great value and so is Butler/Duarte at 24/25. I rated Mann and Bouknight in the 10-15 range and Butler/Duarte as borderline 20.

So this guy is a first rounder right? Will be 18.5 years old come the draft. Is comfortable handling the ball on the perimeter, shooting contested threes, and has nice touch around the rim. Also pretty athletic with decent size. Makes some foolish turnovers, but has good vision and is still young. Very easy draft and stash.

Isaiah Jackson staying in the draft. Good decision. Dude should go top 20 and be a strong defensive frontcourt piece for a long time.

I don't know a lot about him, but started to look into him a little - anybody like Trey Murphy III from UVA at #28?

efficient scorer (50/40/90 this year), defends a little, some physical upside due to a freaky late growth spurt

I don't rate him that highly because I don't think he has any shotcreating talent and he doesn't make many plays defensively.

He's a potentially elite shooter and he's 6'9", so I recognize the appeal in terms of fit. Probably has a chance to be a Duncan Robinson type, at the next level.
