If we were to trade Ben which of these two would you prefer?

Neither.

1.) they can’t shoot
2.) teams can set a screen then voila they’re wiped away next thing you know seth curry is on their best player

Not interested in trading Ben at this juncture, but I'd take RHJ over MKG without thinking twice.

If I had to choose one, it would be Jefferson, pretty easily. He's still playing defense at a strong level and is coming off a season where he logged 1000+ minutes on a playoff team.

I remember watching Arizona playing several years ago in part to watch RHJ and Stanley Johnson for pre-draft purposes. Never thought that day that the guy with the most NBA job security I watched that day was TJ McConnell. He played well but I figured D-League or short Euro career at best for him.

The wheels have completely fallen off MKG. He'll be overseas soon enough.

RHJ is worth more than a min deal. He's an awful fit next to Ben but he's worth it for any team to pick up. You could use him as a small ball 5 in some lineups.

I picked neither.
Reasoning is the teams biggest need right now is a true point guard.
If we get Harden that changes.
But right now that’s what this team needs.

This team also needs F-sized defenders. Which is what Jefferson is.

I'd take Rondae over TFerg (or ex option Justin Anderson) in an instant. Hopefully after Ferg's salary gets packaged

I feel like the release of RHJ would make it easier to trade Ben for Harden. You could find your wing defender for cheap while solving your greatest need i.e. a real point guard.

I want no part of harden if it involves Simmons plus picks. Harden is essentially a one year rental. The second year will be a fiasco if he’s stringing the sixers along before free agency at age 32/33.

Saying that. RHJ is better nba fit than mgk. I’d take a flyer on him if he’s cheap.

I agree with this. I’d only go Harden if he guarantees his third year. And I’d only include this years first and maybe 1 second.
