Vegas: Sixers -1.5

Raps is struggling on offense but they have the personnel to really give us a tough time on defense. Double goalie of Siakam and Baynes. Then Baynes can slowdown Biid.

Im curious to see how our offense improves this game. Specially with the Ben and Biid snug PnR.

Embiid should dominate Baynes.

Why do people say this should be an easy win or certain players will dominate certain players? Baynes is actually a very tough matchup for Jo - he is stronger than him and can shoot three pointers. I’m predicting a loss just like I predicted a loss for the Cleveland Cavaliers game - the guard mismatch is too much for us to make up in other areas. This is a little over .500 Sixers team. The good news is the president of basketball operations will not put up with it and make moves.

Exactly Banes is as strong as Gasol may be not as good of a post defender but he also will be surrounded by quality defenders who will crowd embiid every chance they get in the post.

I will be interested to see how Embiid responds with a little more spacing than usual. He has to continue improving his decision making and passes out of the double

I expect Siakim to have a hard time with Bens defense but i also expect the little backcourt of lowry and vanfleet to go off.

The bench is key especially with Furkan out hopefully Mathisse and Maxey can step up.

I feel like we will really need help from Curry and Green. Also can't afford for our bench to go quiet.

Nurse and Stevens know how to frustrate Joel and I expect that to continue

Must win game. Can get to a strong 3-1 position ahead of all the contenders in the East. Also every speck of dirt shoveled onto Tampa this year is big. Makes it more likely they sell off on the missing piece to our title, hometown boy Kyle Lowry.

A lot of people on our board are explicitly hoping for that (depending on the return).

Makes all the sense in the world. Hope we can find a deal that works for both sides. I see it as similar to the deal you guys did for Marc Gasol 2 years ago, which I believe got you over the finish line to the title.

Ben turning down an open elbow jumper with the shot clock running down. Sad!
