So we raised the white flag, when we down 14-16 pts with like 15 to 18 minutes left in the game.

The went back to our starting unit with 9 mins left in the fourth.

What was that? A deception strategy?

If you’ll be watching the replay.

Watch how Nets goes under the screen to defend Maxey. Maxey has to improve as a shooter and make them pay.

There’s a lot of upside on his shooting

Seems to me Biid was playing on load management in the fourth.

We intentionally run offense with Ben at the post in the fourth and let Shake run 2 man game and pulling up whenever he feels.

Shake and Maxey were the only positives. Everyone else was terrible. As much as I like our game as of late, we are getting too cute and complacent at times. Our turnovers are still a problem. Not sure that has anything to do with the coaching now. It was same with Brett and now with Doc.

It's a shame, Nets were without their best 3 players. You need to win those games.

I dont like excuses when the other team dont have his 3 best players , but when you see the starters energy and then you see the bench players energy... I think the starters players (not Milton, who was in the second unit vs wizards)were tired, they played with zero energy and intensity.

Our two losses were in to back to back games, we played terrible basketball.

Shake and Maxey running our offense like how the modern NBA is running their halfcourt offense. Ahh.. so nice.

I hope Shake, Maxey and D12 can develop a chemistry with all the lobs.

I didnt watch the game. Im guessing our stars didnt show up, played with no energy . They played down to their comp . because nets were with out Durant and Kyrie?

No energy or concentration, typical back-to-back game. Amount of fumbles, head-scratching passes, lost hustle plays were infinite. We had absolutely no business of winning this game.

As I said earlier in the season. There will come a point that teams will defend Maxey by going under every screen, thought his willingness to shoot was OK (not great, but not atrocious), however hunt for the three instead of a 20-foot pull up off the dribble.

Yea it seems like now that the offense has gotten better. That's why I didn't like that Charlotte game. We almost lost because even though the Sixers shot the ball well they did not defend to the level they could of.

This team will not be elite offensively, good defense should be a constant.
