It was an obvious hyperextension, didn’t crumble sideways or awkwardly. Painful as hell, but hopefully more structural strain and stretch than tears and things popping.

The team has really taken care of business these last two games, finally looking like a team that knows and feels like a winner, that knows how to dispatch lesser teams even undermanned. Maturity and culture taking hold, now let’s hope it is just like a 7-10 day thing with a brace to provide stability when he returns.

Really outside of the Cavs game they've looked great for a good stretch now. They've been playing really well. Hope for the best with Joel.

The key is that he does not get a meniscus tear. Obviously you don't want even more serious like an ACL etc. But he's already had meniscus surgery on the same knee. If he has to have that again, it'll start becoming chronic, and will rob him of his athleticism.

man, that was crushing to watch. best of luck to the big fella. Looking for our back ups to step up big and Simmons to come back attacking.
