In all fairness though Jo dominates Dwight. You should have seen how frustrated he was with him when he played on the Hornets.

Sure, as he does most centers including those currently most elite, but he is still big, strong and physical and it is good he won’t be banging with Embiid. As has been said on this forum Embiid’s only problem seems to be with funky/atypical centers like Baynes.

Not primarily a Sixers fan obviously but follow them being Australian as a second team because of Simmons, and formed a strong regard for Embiid before Simmons even made the court in an actual NBA game.

His “struggles” against Baynes are really more because Boston and Toronto are teams that double the post really well. They have had good personnel, great coaching, and they’ve played him more than any other teams at this point. Toronto was legitimately tripling him before he even dribbled last time. Like Gasol didn’t suddenly forget how to play defense on him in LA, the Lakers just actually asked him to cover Embiid one on one more and/or didn’t double as effectively.

Lmfao at the Giannis analogy that’s spot on. Though it’s like practically impossible when he starts going downhill. Simmons has his work cut out for him.

Harris/Scott/Howard/Thybulle will get monstered Giannis has freaky measurables/freak athleticism.

Fiba court/rules makes him mortal but that system/rules is governed more for team/skillful players.

What I don’t get how the top level is easier to score. That’s doesn’t happen in any top sport lol.
