I am a bit worried about the center position with Embiid injured and Dwight being so foul prone. Not so much for the playoffs but i wouldnt want that to cost us some regular season games and the first seed.

I am also surprised we couldnt get something done with Ball, as apparently they Pelicans didnt get any decent offers.

I was thinking buy out Scott and sign Cousins, but I'm not sure how they would handle the backup 4 spot which is more important than 3rd Center.

I'm not super worried about the center position. There are enough centers potentially hitting the buyout market that I'd hope a contender like the Sixers would be able to grab one.

I think Hill's minutes will fall more in line with the Simmons, Embiid, Harris trio than the rest of the rotation in the playoffs unless his productivity falls off with lots of minutes. We should load manage him in the regular season and since the other guys on the team have shown the ability to contribute to wins so Doc should be able to do it.

Somebody mentioned that if they want him to be restricted then it needs to happen this year. Not sure if true or critical.

Just glad we didn’t bail them out. I’d much rather have George Hill and keep Danny Green, Matisse, Maxey, and our picks. It was gong to be a horrible use of resources.

Sure, I've said along I wanted Lowry but if it got past the basic price you've got to move on. Hill will help. Wish they could upgrade the Scott spot though, not sure if Olynyk or someone shakes loose.

I wanted Ersan all year. He played so well next to Embiid two years ago, I am surprised we did give him a shot.

I was away from the computer for the last hour of deadline time, but that Oladipo trade confirms Houston as a total dumpster fire, they got more for Tucker than Dipo. They are gonna be like Kings bad for a long time (which is a requirement of being Kings bad).
