I heard someone said that Randle and Embiid will have spacing problems because both occupies the same space. No, Randle and Embiid are both good floor spacers.
Or if you’re reply was that you have a disbelief with how Randle is playing lately with “lol what?”
Yeah, Julius Randle is tearin it up and leading his team to the playoffs.

Randle is great but not on Embiid's level as a scorer or defender.76ciology wrote:eyeatoma wrote:Lol what?

The only thing that will stop our team are injuries or Ben and Tobi not stepping up.

Bro, calm down. I never said Randle is as good as Embiid.
Im talking about SPACING. Like on court spacing. Not spacing in the ecosystem of all time great players. Hahaha

At times you have the tendency to have some interesting perspectives lol, can't blame me for thinking that's what you meant.

I would build an entire gameplan around shutting down Middleton. Have Ben Simmons ball denying him and then having he and Danny Green hound him on the ball when he does get it.

I don’t think we’ll be playing the Bucks over the next 5 months.

Nice to have a 2.5 game cushion over the Nets. Thanks Bucks!

Nets are going to lose twice in Milwaukee, just like we did. We’re fine, as long as finish strong our last 12-game stretch.

Could be huge if we continue to handle business. Could rest the starters for a few games heading into the playoffs.

Nets also have Mavs and Nuggets on the road this week, gotta be tired after the Bucks games and now have to travel and face a couple younger and hungrier good teams. Could easily see them dropping one or even both of those. And if that happens, we'd need a worst case scenario-type situation to not land in 1st.

Only need to go 5-2 on weak schedule to guarantee it

Last year that may work. But this year, Jrue can create for Giannis or Middleton to score. Maybe even some shots for Brolo off a pick and pop.
The bigger problem is they have all the tools to stop us on defense. The same issues since 2018.
If we face the bucks, and Bucks will win that series by playing double goalie that forces Biid to rely a lot on his jumper, then it will be a really interesting offseason IMO.
And it doesnt just stop there, if we make the finals, the Lakers can also play double goalie with AD and Gasol.
I do think Bucks know they’re superior than any of the contenders in the east. They can match Nets scoring and pull away with their defense. They have the right personnel to slow down Embiid. They’ll have that confidence going to the play-offs. And they dont care about HCA. Milwaukee is not that nice of a place anyway.

The Bucks are only 1 game back in the loss column from the Nets now, with the tie breaker in hand.
That series is damn near a coin toss if the Bucks have HCA.

Yeah, not sure what's laughable about it. If they're healthy, they're probably still the slight favorite to come out of the West.
Personally, I'm leaning towards it being the Clippers.

Bump this at the end of the season. This is the 76ers we are talking about. But good call so far.
The Accession of Paul Reed is upon us !

Listening to the Bucks game last night. They said with the play in format, teams that are already in basically get a week off. That is huge. Talking about huge, is it me or does James Harden look way out of shape?
