Anyone see late career D Rose in Maxey? Rose has the years of experience and polished skillset and his jumper has improved out of sight, whereas Maxey is younger and more athletic and can learn it the right way. It’s pretty uncanny the similarities

That’s a great outcome imo.

Have often compared the 2 stylistically

With all the Ben fallout, some people were hoping for another CP3 but I have always thought that current Rose was closer and that’s still a good player

Yeah, after two games, I’m definitely not sold on Chicago. They’ve got some talent, but no offensive identity: they don’t seem to know what they want to do other than get Lavine or Derozan the ball and let them create an average-efficiency shot. That’s on Donovan. They do have a lot of newish pieces, so I guess I’d give them some time, but they don’t look like a contender yet.

This was supposed to be his ascension in stardom season. He's been a hot circle of garbage so far. And now he might have tweaked his back? Ouch at that contract.

@76iology, are you warming up to Ja Morant?

It appears that he's carrying over his shooting from last year's playoffs. And he's generating a lot of deflections on the defensive end, as well. Right now, he's looking like a complete player superstar.

The Lakers had zero (0) starters in double figures last night, granted Anthony Davis left after 7 minutes due to having a diarrhea attack. High scorer in the game was Monk with 13, lol.

The pullup threes are the part of his game that bother me the most. No reason why a great shooter like him to be shooting so poorly from three percentage-wise. He needs to pass more and take more assisted threes.

Random note, but Jahmi'us Ramsey almost became an accountant last night after going 1-16 in his G-League game.

Ugh, I feel bad for Ramsey. With no ability to create, his jumper was the only way he was going to stick in the league. There's absolutely no path for playing time with the Kings now that they have both Mitchell and Davis in the fold.

I'm surprised teams aren't calling Sacramento to get Ramsey. If you have nothing to play for anyway, just get Ramsey and give him 20+ mpg and tell him to keep shooting. Sink or swim.
