Olynyk is an interesting thought. I think the Sixers probably were willing to let go of Bradley because they thought a stretch big man would offer something a little different than Dwight. The question is is Olynyk the 36.5% career 3fg shooter, or the 31% from this season?

I’d jump on both Dedmon and Olynyk as a buyout target, there’s a lot of players better than Scott playing that role. Dedmon should be picked up don’t know what happened to him but

Yea, I mean, if there was ever a time for us to get him, I feel like it was this deadline. He'd play the Redick role well with Embiid and Dwight off the bench.

I wonder if the Magic plan on trying to inflate his value by letting him run the team for the rest of the season.

Is Olynyc expected to be bought out? If so, we should absolutely pursue him.

From hoopshype:

James Ham: According to a league source, the Sacramento Kings are expected to release forward/center Mfiondu Kabengele. This move will bring the regular roster back to 15 players. – via Twitter James_HamNBCS

I wonder if his history with Doc in LA might bring him here as a project.

Terrence Ross would be my absolute number 1 target.

He’s not getting brought out with 2.5 years left in his contract at reasonable 11-12 million a year.

Kelly Olynyk if possible. I'm also not opposed to adding LaMarcus Aldridge. I mean....Brooklyn has turned this season into pro wrestling by adding Harden, Griffin, and god knows who else they get on the buyout market. I guess suggesting LMA isn't so bad right?

Brooklyn or LAL prob just get Andre Drummond for nothing. Seems reasonable.

As for us, not expecting much. Theres really not much out there that we would or should want imo.

He'd just go back to Boston, for a bigger role.

He's in on a good contract

Rudy Gay is on an expiring. If the Spurs haven't given him an indication they'll re-sign him, he may ask for a buyout to play on a winner.

Lol. Sounds like a center, but I guess that could always cut Iggy B

For what? They aren’t competing in the near future. Probably could have gotten picks out of the deal.

They'd have to lose $20M+ and then pay more to fill a roster spot. Also, they can trade him next season or the season after.

What exactly do they gain by buying him out?

Exactly. He isn't an Expiring. They have 3 years of a good contract.

They're in playing in a small market, and trying to have some semblance of a team, to help Fultz develop. They already traded all of their scorers. Why would they trade Terrance Ross (on a value contract) for a mediocre pick, when he will likely be their leading scorer next year and raise his value.

From what I read, sixers will be everyone’s second choice on the buyout market. Do u guys agree?
