I feel like Cleveland will have to give to get rid of Love. Maybe they give #3, Garland, and Love instead?

Nance and/or Prince are welcome here in my book.

Love could also be a Blake type that snaps out of it once he gets to a good team. Could be a useful piece.

I don’t see the #3 pick being in play that’s extreme wishful thinking.

Somebody was saying that Altman was talking up his “big 4” (Garland, Sexton, Okoro, and Allen) and that he wanted to add to them.

I could see CLE being excited to get Simmons, for on and off the court reasons. Klutch obviously already has a relationship with Gilbert directly.

Getting rid of Love also benefits them.

Problem is, I don’t see Ben fitting in at all with that “big 4”. Okoro can’t shoot and Allen can’t shoot, you can’t have Ben sandwiched between those two. Not to mention Garland and Sexton (especially) being extremely ball dominant guys. He would be a terrible fit there, but I guess crazier things have happened.

Maybe they trade for Simmons, and then realize Nance is a better fit, so they S&T Allen. IDK.

Harris for McCollum. Simmons & Maxey for Garland & Love. Add filler/picks were necessary.

Flame away! :D

I was trying to do something with Harris for CJ, then Simmons for Love and 3. IMO that’s the way to attack this offseason.

I wonder if there's some way to parlay a CJ/Harris swap in with a Lowry S&T. Tobias makes a little more money so that would give some wiggle room with salary matching.

Lowry
CJ
Green? Thybulle?

I don't think Love is finished either and he'd be a useful player with a bad contract. A deal centered around Love and the 3 would have to be in conjunction with a Harris trade so Love can play the 4. I can see the fun in a lineup of Maxey, Suggs/Green, wing from Harris trade, Love, and a leaner Embiid.

Harris for CJ + our 1st.

Ben and Thybulle for Love, Garland and pick 3 (Jalen Green).

Now we have a gluttony of creators lmfao.

Green
Garland
CJ
Maxey

... I don’t think anyone here would know what to do we went from rags to riches.

Kobble might be in heaven if that happens lol

I would love to get McCollum for Harris but I don't see Portland being interested in Harris. That could change after they hire someone but I don't think he helps them that much. That said, there's definitely potential for a 3 team deal because overall I'd say Harris and McCollum's values are pretty much identical on the trade market.

No thanks from POR.

Harris only possible if Thybulle is part of the deal.

Fantasy Trade Thread right?

This will solve all problems

Spoiler:
The more I think of it, the more I feel like we need to trade Embiid and start over again.

NBA is just about how good is your ball handler in scoring off a 2 man screen play. You can read it more on the “NBA Playoffs thread”.

1.) Simmons for CJ McCullom
- no explanation needed
2.) Tobias Harris for Christian Woods
- wings over bigs
3.) Joel Embiid for Luka Doncic and Kleber
- Luka’s turmoil in Dallas. Embiid = Dirk 2.0, Mavs would overvalue Embiid

Starting unit:
Doncic
CJ
Thybulle
Maxi Kleber
Christian Woods

Offense:
- 48 mins of torture with Doncic and CJ running pick and roll.
- With Kleber popping and Woods ready for lobs.

Alternative options:
A

Embiid for Doncic and Kleber
Ben for Gobert
Tobias for Coby White

Doncic
Coby White
Thybulle
Kleber
Gobert

B
Embiid for Doncic and Kleber
Ben for CJ
Tobias and 28th for Draymond and 9th pick

Doncic
Cj
Franz Wagner (9th pick)
Kleber
Draymond

Both have risks.

Luka may also not re-sign with the Mavs or asks a trade. This is why they’re doing everything to overhaul their FO

If Mavs agrees to the trade, would you do it?

Of course , a freshly signed Luka is worth alot more than a hobbled Embiid who will very soon be asking for a Supermax.

Wait we are talking about Luka here?

Arguably the most prized asset in the whole entire NBA and then some.

Embiid is my favorite player but even he would make that trade LMFAO.

We just got a top 15 all time player potential if that happens.

This would be the biggest trade heist ever.

.... he makes Powell seem decent ffs

It’s Embiid +

Not Luka + lmao.

Seriously if Luka was available everything would stop and a the biggest bidding war would take place. Legit every team would come up with a package overnight

Pelicans would parcel Ingram, Ball S&T and picks so fast lmao

Embiid isn’t durable never has been.

Yup Luka.

We’ll win that bid war if we put Embiid on the table.

Personally i find Luka to be overrated but he’s the best return I can find for Embiid.

Another one is Steph.
