After breaking John Wall's Kentucky assist record, here he is today totally outclassing Kennedy Chandler head to head.

What do you guys think of Mathurin? I have him higher than Banchero now.

I think his stock is getting too high, to be honest. Not sure if I see him as a top 10 pick. I'm having trouble projecting him as a scorer at the next level with how little he can slash to the basket off the dribble.

I think you can get a nearly identical player to him (Julian Strawther) at the end of the first round so I'm having a hard time justifying him as a top 10 pick.

I think Mathurin has a lot higher upside than Strawther as an offensive player. Possibly an Oladipo type offensive player

Arizona is 3rd in the NCAA in pace. A ton of Mathurin's points come on the break. That's why I'm having issue projecting him as a scorer. His ability to get to the rim off the dribble is very poor. Don't see a lot of halfcourt stuff from him.

Looks top 3 talent on paper after Jabari and Ivey. But he has to play to confirm.

Stats are sick but he can't shoot and can't protect the rim. Antithesis of what you need in a modern big.

I think if it were last year, we'd see Shaedon Sharpe play right now. But the Cats are playing pretty well with their current squad and likely don't want to hand the keys over to Sharpe when they have TyTy and Wheeler playing so well.

That said, Sharpe is Harden-esque.

I think we're going to see Sharpe tonight. He just posted about his new NIL deal and Cal talked about how the guys want him to play. With TyTy likely out at least tonight, I imagine all sides have come to an agreement to give him some scratch.

Yea, so Iverson Molinar is definitely an interesting player that I had my eye on last year but has made the jump. There are some holes in his game, but he's got the tools to be a guy in the next level.
