So Julian Champagnie has been really good these past two seasons. I don't think he has a lot of scoring upside, regardless of his sophomore and junior ppg output. I do think he can be a really useful role player, though. He seems to have fully embraced the three point shot, making him a solid spacer. And he's been really active defensively all along.

I think he can be a Crowder/Green/Covington type. I'd be interesting in purchasing a 2nd round pick if he's sliding.

Saturday should be fun:

Nebraska at Auburn - ESPN2 11:30am
- Two of the very best prospects in this draft (Jabari Smith and K.D. Johnson)

Kentucky at Notre Dame - ESPN 5:15pm
- Elite scoring G Blake Wesley

What's up with Duke's A.J. Griffin?

Looks like a 3&D stud with a huge body, but he's buried on Duke's bench. Is this guy one of those character nutjobs or something?

Was injured in October with a sprained knee which are painful and can be a nuisance. Hasn’t had a clean bill of health for quite awhile. It’s someone’s last year at Duke who is ego and pride driven and the classical old dog no new tricks is very true with this coach. If your out of the rotation it’s done no playing time. Been that way for ages

Could be good for us if we can nab him late. Legit prospect with the size and skill. Downside though he could forgo this year and go somewhere else and regain value. He’s a def 1st rounder but Duke and an old man have bigger fish to fry.

Can we draft a huge forward with guard skills. The Raptors just nabbed two last draft with Banton and Barnes. That's the future trend of the league and we're being left behind.

Huge F with G skills that can't shoot. Hmm sounds familiar.

ADJ is a big big unit for a guard I’ll be happy as larry to take him if he falls. We do need size and he fits the bill well.

Also Eason from LSU off the bench could be a diamond in the rough pickup in the later round. We don’t even draft NBA sized wings they look like goddamn midgets lol. But he’s def 6”8” and playing very well off the bench. Got 14 rebounds couple weeks back

Could be this draft’s Banton bargain pick. Is 100% NBA wing size with athleticism (whatever he is listed I buy it no tall tales there lol) has the block/steal and rebound numbers and the shot is coming along, steady ft routine which is encouraging. Small sleeper but scouts would be interested in someone like him imo

Both Griffin and Keels are built like powerhouses and both play elite defense and space the floor.

Either one of them would bolster our porous defense and make our offense even better, by improving our spacing.

Jabari Smith is HUGE. This dude is going to be able to play PF minutes at the NBA level.

Blake Wesley is incredible. Might be my 2nd best freshman behind Jabari Smith. Definitely not well-rounded, but he has the chance to be an elite offensive player at the next level.

Don't pay attention to the mocks. Draft scouts are always late to the party. Blake Wesley is one of the very best scorer prospects in the country (by far the best freshman G). You'll see him start to pop up on mock drafts eventually.

For people that like bigmen, any love for Duke's Mark Williams?

Legit 7 footer. Elite shotblocker. Pick this dude up in the 30-40 range and you're in a good spot with your bigman rotation.

Everyone seems to be appropriately wary of Kendall Brown. Great size and defensively ability, but could be game-breakingly unskilled offensively. Definitely seems like a Ujiri pick.

Patrick Baldwin
Blake Wesley
Jaden Ivey
K.D. Johnson
Julian Strawther

Edit: A.J. Griffin is exploding onto my list, too. He's been balling lately. Might be better than Banchero.
