He's an absolute freak. Like let's not overthink this one. I can't see a flaw in his game, and it's not normal for a 6'10 athlete to be moving, dribbling and shooting the way he does. And he's a defensive mastermind.

Jabari Smith, Banchero or Chet can all solve our scoring and size problem.

Presti thirsting for some top 3 pick this season. Once they land it, they’ll be really good

Would be hilarious if the Thunder got stuck with Chet. The Chet/Poku stickbug frontcourt would be hilarious.

If K.D. Johnson doesn't go top 10, this league is tripping.

Yikes at Memphis.

Duren looked like a joke again. Bates is now benched and played terrible. Nolley looked bad. Is Hardaway just a really bad coach or something?

Kennedy Chandler with another nice scoring game. Although he was just going right over and over again. I don't love him.

Bryce Mcgowens is really interesting. Super tall and lanky and a scoring machine, just knows how to take it into the teeth of the defense and is an awesome finisher in traffic, but that 3 ball is busted and he's not much of a playmaker.

Still assessing this freshman class.

Christie has the ability, but he's been mad inconsistent. He and Caleb Houstan are my two most disappointing freshmen right now. They're the Brandon Boston and Zhaire Williams of this class so far. Do you think Christie is draftable right now?

yes.

he was brought there mainly to recruit via his name/connections. Only got a coaching gig prior due to his friend almost dying and he took over to help him out IIRC

Chandler is a gamer. And you know what I value defensively. He's been ELITE at generating deflections. He's been a defensive force despite being a skinny munchkin. On the offensive end, he's been mainly a slasher (50% of field goals at the rim). At his size, that's not going to translate. I want to see him shift his game more to the outside as the season goes on. If he can do that, I'd anoint him as a worthy munchkin.

Agree about McGowens being interesting, but lukewarm. Shallow skillset right now with mediocre rebounding, bad defense, bad passing and a questionable jumper. I don't think it's enough to just be able to score the ball anymore. Free throws look good, I think the jumper might be salvageable.

Could see him staying another year like Gary Harris did. He just needs more rep and is too raw to go pro as a freshman imo.

Jaden Ivey has Purdue as #1 for the first time in school history. Might be #2 in this draft behind Jabari Smith.

I think Taz Sherman is better than Jevon Carter and Miles McBride were. What to do with a guy that was on the bench until his senior year, though.

Christie is Tre Mann, has class written all over him but needs another year to polish up. It happened to Ivey and Morant as well.

Ivey is like Schroder++ not like Morant. Fox is a good mention but unlike that Kings player Ivey can defend he has skill there not just athleticism.

Chandler is really good but is tiny :(

Chet or Smith Jr for the 1 spot. Murray does have flaws but is my favorite prospect so far. Griffin Jr if he falls we should jump on immediately like not even think about it. Kid you not if we are close enough come draft day get him and sort out the rest.

Terrence Shannon took a huge leap this year. Looks incredible on both ends. Jumper looks legit, but I'm wary about trusting his willingness to shoot it, given his first two seasons at Texas Tech where he was just an energy player with no skill. Certainly one of the most fun players to watch in college this year, though.

Keegan Murray with his first clunker of the year.

9 points in 37 minutes on 4-17 shooting in a 20 point loss to rival Iowa State.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
