I haven't seen either of them play live, but from what I've seen based on highlights, Jalen Green looks waaaay better than Cade Cunningham. Is this the case?

I preferred Green coming out. Something about Cade didn't look right to me. Looked stiff and didn't have freak athleticism. I think Detroit is going to regret that one, unless what I've seen is misleading and those are just highlights skewing how they truly look.

Jalen Green's per minute scoring this year has been really disappointing. I thought he was going to take the league by storm and possibly average 20+ as a rookie. We poo pooed Anthony Edwards last year, but he looks like a better prospect than everyone in this class.

Cunningham is looking better in this game than he’s done so far but he’s nowhere near the athlete that Green is

Green is really talented and produces lots of highlights

Cade is supposed to be more of a floor general

Based on what I have seen, I would definitely have taken Green

On the surface Westbrook had a great game 25pts with triple double.

..but he did it on 22FGAs and 8 TOs.

Lakers is F’d.

Scoring backcourt duo = check
Collective scoring = check
Rim protector = check
6th man microwave scorer = check

Beal has been really bad & they only won today because the Cavs collapsed

Nets (talent), Heat & Bucks are light years ahead in East

Both will likely be 20+ ppg scorers that make allstar teams so I don't think either team will regret their choice.

Green seems like an immature diva that would bail for California or New York the first chance he got. And he pretty much confirmed that himself. Cunningham was much more receptive to playing in Detroit, which factored into their decision.

Green is on a terrible team that makes it hard for me to even know how good he is. Last night, as the game was closing, 3 other players took quick terrible 3s and that was pretty much the end of it. KPJ is not a PG. Wood is fools gold..and it feels like Silver should Colangelo them lol.

Imagine how Eric Gordon must feel right now. He has to go out there each night as two doofus teenagers with terrible haircuts take all the shots and tank the team's ability to win any games. He probably quotes Danny Glover's Lethal Weapon line every night. Get Eric Gordon to a contender!

Maybe we should go after Anfernee Simons since he's nuking his value over the last three games (7-30 FG, 1-13 3FG).

With him being in the final year of his rookie deal, will the organization commit to re-signing him in the range of $16m+ per year?

Through Edwards' first 11 games of his rookie year he averaged 12.5 ppg on 46% TS coming off the bench.

I save my hot takes on rookies for at least a year.

Mobley
Barnes
Cade
Green
Giddey

Top 6

Easy if you watched College, Mobley has top ten potential in the comp (top ten impact) the rest besides Barnes don’t.

Don’t know why people get excited over chuckers like Edwards. Thoroughly disappointed in Green so far. Still I think Hyper Beal (my comp for him) is his max ceiling but he has besides Suggs the biggest variance.

Anyway Mobley is a dead set stud muffin.

Next year you’ll get to see what Ben was supposed to look like in (Banchero) and one who might be Demigod lite (Chet). 7ft T Prince body composition, 7ft Ingram but more advanced more fluid on offense but less than KD but taller obv, and a 7ft shotblocker/rim protector ala Zingis on defense but more mobile. That’s MVP tier imo. Just don’t go over on the gym/bulk up like what Kristaps did. Do swimming instead. (Perfect body shape to do it).

So you’re saying Chet Holmgren’s ceiling is rich man’s Brandon Ingram with the defense of a more mobile Kristaps Porzingis. That’s going to be quite a player.

I’ve been thinking Victor is a three-point shooting Kareem Abdul Jabbar. But the long term history of guys 7’2” and taller isn’t great. I’m rooting for both of them (and Banchero) to kill it at the next level.
"I don’t wanna be Jordan, I don’t wanna be Magic, I don’t wanna be Bird or Isiah. I don’t wanna be any of those guys. When my career’s over, I''m gonna look in the mirror and say I did it my way.”- Allen Iverson
