Through Edwards' first 11 games of his rookie year he averaged 12.5 ppg on 46% TS coming off the bench.

He was inefficient, but he was exerting much more scoring pressure on defenses on a per minute basis. Edwards was scoring 18.2 ppg per-36 during that 11 game window. Nobody in this class so far is scoring at a comparable rate (Barnes is closest at 17.7 per 36).

Top 6

Easy if you watched College, Mobley has top ten potential in the comp (top ten impact) the rest besides Barnes don’t.

Don’t know why people get excited over chuckers like Edwards. Thoroughly disappointed in Green so far. Still I think Hyper Beal (my comp for him) is his max ceiling but he has besides Suggs the biggest variance.

Anyway Mobley is a dead set stud muffin.

Next year you’ll get to see what Ben was supposed to look like in (Banchero) and one who might be Demigod lite (Chet). 7ft T Prince body composition, 7ft Ingram but more advanced more fluid on offense but less than KD but taller obv, and a 7ft shotblocker/rim protector ala Zingis on defense but more mobile. That’s MVP tier imo. Just don’t go over on the gym/bulk up like what Kristaps did. Do swimming instead. (Perfect body shape to do it).

So you’re saying Chet Holmgren’s ceiling is rich man’s Brandon Ingram with the defense of a more mobile Kristaps Porzingis. That’s going to be quite a player.

I’ve been thinking Victor is a three-point shooting Kareem Abdul Jabbar. But the long term history of guys 7’2” and taller isn’t great. I’m rooting for both of them (and Banchero) to kill it at the next level.

All 3 fall into separate strengths and weaknesses imo.

Victor is the most talented prospect since who knows when but he’s 7”2” barefoot, the history hasn’t been kind to that height demos.

Banch has the lowest value type archetype (PF, not a defender) Carmelo lite all the way to Final Form Ben/Tatums big bro.

With Chet it’s just physique being 7ft it’s fine for him.

Chet is that good, skill for skill he pips Banch and is much more valuable. SF/PF small ball C due to length and shot blocking intangibles.

Yeah Chet has MVP type traits of his model of play. Being taller than Ingram (More fluid) and KD (less fluid, more mobile than Zingis (less taller an adv).

He’s the real deal, if he passes the test on Saturday which I think he will he’s auto number 1 and there isn’t much discussion frankly.

It’s a shame we didn’t trade for Kyle Lowry. We could really use his 10 ppg and sub-40% shooting. Shame we didn’t give up Maxey.

Look how GP3 is used as a rollman. Would be interesting if we’ll continue to see guards play like PFs on offense. We’ve tried it with our 4 guard lineups last season with Thyse or Green at PF

Isn't he always complaining about the refs though?

Isn't he always complaining about something in general?

They might be interested for an insane young talent that has career shooting % of 56%.

To be fair. Everyone is complaining.
Even Andre Drummond keeps complaining that he sometimes run down on defense late.

This rule change really favors the Warriors.
The league needs to revive the Warriors.

With these rules F trying to go up against the 2015-2016 squad where everybody knew how to put on mad illegal screens and some played old school. Green, Bogut, Lee, Iggy, Livingston, Barbosa all of them lol.

He wouldn't complete this team, but he'd be piece #2.

Paul George is who we wish Tobias Harris was. Better defender, much smarter, wayyyyy better handles, better shooter, more aggressive, a real on court leader, effortless shooter / shot creator.

I love Paul George though, he's always been one of my fav players in the league. And he gets a bad rap for 'choking' and when he fails he fails hard, but people neglect that he's dragging teams year in and year out above their weight class.

General thoughts from last night:
- It seems like R.J. Barrett and Emmanuel Quickley are losing their footing a bit with the Knicks' vet movement.
- Jalen Green and Cade Cunningham continue to disappoint on a per minute scoring basis.
- Devin Vassell is breaking out. Pop needs to give him a 30+ mpg role.
- What do people see in DeAndre Hunter?
- Hyland would have been great as our pick.
- What is this Lakers roster?

By any chance, does this "insane young talent" also have the potential to be the next LeBron if he simply adds a jumpshot?
