It almost seems unfair that they have this guy waiting in the wings alongside Steph/Klay/Dray. He has monstrous potential.

Kuminga, Moody and Wiseman. Wiggins is also looking much improved and a great fit to their team

Could only imagine that Warriors team if they would have drafted LaMelo like they were supposed to
always a jump shot away.

Spurs is so cute in pumping Dejounte Murray’s numbers. Empty triple double from MCW playbook

John Wall has played in fewer games than Dirk Nowitzki over the past 5 seasons. Dirk retired three years ago.

cavs’s defense is weird.
They play three 7 footers. Have elite defense. Plays a lot of zone.
Guards averages least ppg against them while centers averages the most ppg against them.
Centers averages 18FGM against them. Next is Hawks with 11FGM.

Russell Westbrook is shooting 43.8% from the field this season. That's better than these players:
Jayson Tatum: 42.7%
LaMelo Ball: 42.4%
Paul George: 42.1%
James Harden: 42%
Stephen Curry: 41.6%
Damian Lillard: 40.2%

How many three pointers do all these players shoot compared to Westbrooks 3 a game?
Ben Simmons had a far better FG% than all of these guys too.

Hahaha Warriors fans are the Lakers fans before. They’re global and I think they’re most numbered.
But I enjoy watching Wiggins on this Warriors squad. He’s almost the perfect SF. He’s great to elite on spot up and cutting to the basket. He can also attack mismatches on switch. He also have great length to be a plus team defender.

Through ~50 games, 16 Rookies have taken at least 80 catch & shoot jumpers. Here's the top 5 by EFG%
1) Q. Grimes - 65.5 EFG%
2) A. Dosunmu - 62.6%
3) C. Duarte - 58%
4) F. Wagner - 55.2%
5) B. Hyland - 54.9%
And here's the bottom 3 from that group of 16, again by EFG%, starting with worst:
16) J Giddey - 38.2 EFG%
15) D. Mitchell - 38.4%
14) S. Barnes - 43.2%
1) Q. Grimes - 65.5 EFG%

4) F. Wagner - 55.2%

I found the explanation
But there’s another factor at play, and it’s a spectacularly random one. Wiggins has benefited from a tidal wave of support from Korean music fans thanks to wildly popular K-pop star BamBam urging his fanbase to vote the Warriors forward into the All-Star Game.
Earlier this year, BamBam told his 15.5 million Instagram followers that he was “very honored to be named as the Golden State Warriors’ Global Ambassador.” He added, “I will do my best engaging with GSW and all the fans throughout the season in 2022. Please keep showing our support to the greatest GSW players!”

Kind of weird to have this feeling for a Lakers fan.
When they won the championship at the bubble, there’s a big cloud of doubt whether the championship was an asterisk or not.
People say it is. As a lakers fan, you say its not.
But 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 seasons kind of made the call of the 2020 season was an asterisk season stronger right?
Its like when people say ur in a ponzi scheme u initially dont believe it. And when u slowly see red flags, u just keep silent about it and know for urself that.. yes, im in a ponzi scheme and im f*cked
I’d like to know it as a Laker fan.

We'll never know what would have happened, but it's not like that Lakers team came out of nowhere before the bubble like the Heat did. They were 49-15, had the best record in the West and the second best record in the league before the season stopped in March. Like that's a 63 win pace.
The only team that was even close to them in the West was the Clippers who would have had to play 7 road games against them in a playoff series. And in the East you could argue the Bucks were or weren't ready and there weren't any other very good teams. That Lakers team was at worst the 3rd best team in the league and I would argue better than that.
In the years that have followed Lebron and/or AD have been hurt for long stretches and they've made dumb roster moves, going away from the defense that won them the title to this odd obsession with on ball guys that don't play defense. That first year was a really good team though.

Yeah i agree with all that you said. I guess you also cant say its a fluke when they have one of the best two man lead team in history with AD and LeBron. Whenever you have that much talent, you are should be a contender. Agree that its not like that Tyler Herro-Duncan Robinson lead heat squad
